DO NOT RELY ON THE PHONE QUOTE. THE QUALITY OF SERVICE WAS GOOD BUT A DOUBLE THE PRICE QUOTED. THIS WAS FOR GUTTER CLEANING. THEY COVERED THEIR TRACKS AND ELIMINATED ALL ONLINE PRICE CORRESPONDENCE AS I SPOKE TO THE ORIGINAL PHONE PERSON HE CALLED UP A PICTURE OF MY HOUSE AND DESCRIBED IT TO ME EXACTLY. WE EVEN DISCUSSED BRICK WITH WOOD PANELS TWO STORY. WHEN THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED HE SAID I HAD GIVEN THE WRONG ADDRESS AND THE QUOTE WAS FOR A ONE STORY HOUSE???? IT WAS A BAIT AND SWITCH!!! I HAD THEM CONTINUE THE JOB AS I WAS LEAVING TOWN FOR A WEDDING AND WOULDN'T HAVE TIME BEFORE SNOW ETC TO HASSLE WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS GOOD BUT I FEEL I WAS SCAMMED !
Dear Jean, We are very sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with your service. We thought we had explained the situation to you pretty well, but it appears there is still quite a bit of confusion. You are correct that the wrong street number was provided over HomeAdvisor, which affected our quote as the house we looked at was similar in appearance, but smaller than your house. You also had gutter guards on your house, which we were not aware of in advance. Unfortunately, when a house requires more work than we initially anticipated, we have to charge accordingly in order to be fair to the rest of our customer. We made sure to make you aware of the required additional cost, and got your approval before starting. We do this to avoid any "bait and switch tactics," which is when more money is demanded after work is already completed. Customers are within their full right to turn down service at any time prior to the start of service. At no time did we intend to make you feel taken advantage of, and we apologize if it came off this way. We would love the opportunity to resolve this with you. The worker came out to my home. He cleaned my gutters, did a professional job, and he cleaned up behind himself. However, It took a while to get my concerns resolved only after I contacted HomeAdvisor.
