They visited my property twice prior to doing the work. The man scheduled to do the work was one of the visitors. I had been quoted on the phone but wanted someone to take a good look at the project. I was told someone viewed the property and they would stick with the $130 quote. The fella that was going to do the work increased the quote by $10 when he was here, which was fine and considered reasonable. When he came back to do the work he cleaned three windows and told me the price would increase, from $140 to $289. I was shocked and we parted company.
Response from Company:
We originally quoted $140 for the window cleaning inside / outside. Once we started the work, this particular customer wanted additional servies. We politely told them additional work would be charged accordingly. They did not want to pay anything more than $140. Sorry for the confusion, no hard feelings, we hope that we can earn their business in the future.

They were quick in their response and in setting up an appointment to come do the job. They were asked to come after 11:00 as no one would be home before that. My husband got home at roughly 10:40 to find a bill in the mail box stating that they had been here at 9:00 and had cleaned the gutters. Being that we have locks on the main gate in the front and in the alley, I'm not sure if all of the gutters were cleaned or only the one that had been mentioned in the original request, We have had rain since and the downspout that was clogged was operating correctly so I know that the downspout was cleared. I have no way of knowing about the rest

Their worker arrived within the estimated time, went to work without the need for a lot of instruction, cleaned all the gutters (two story house, front bay overhang, rear deck and roof area, garage) all within a relatively short time. He brought the tools and implements he needed and removed all debris. Although there was a slight misunderstanding about the total charge for services (his office mistakenly failed to include the garage as part of the agreement) it was corrected easily. We will be calling them for service again this fall or again next spring.
