We purchased a 'Big Deal' for gutter cleaning from Homemasters on 2/8/2012.  Per the instructions, I called  to inquire about scheduling.  I didn't hear back from Homemasters for 2+ weeks.   Fast forward two weeks, Homemasters left a voicemail notifying me that our gutters would be cleaned on March 8, in the morning.  The workers showed up on time, worked swiftly and did a great job.  The price, quality and punctuality (once I heard back from Homemasters) were excellent. Further, I was assessed a $15 surcharge for having a home between 2,500 - 3,000 square feet.  Our home is just under 2,000 sq. ft.  We have an unfinished basement and crawlspace, which Homemasters included in their calculation.  I understand that Homemasters used portlandmaps.com for the data. I've rated the responsiveness and professionalism of the company as fair.

I called to have the gutters cleaned.  They were friendly on the phone and willing to work around my schedule.  On the day of the appointment they arrived on time and when done, went over what was done and suggested a couple of gutter improvements I might want to consider (but weren't pushy about the suggestions).

I am so delighted with this company.  From the person who takes the order to the men who clean and finally a follow up call to see if I am happy with results.  How nice is that!  Everyone friendly but professional.  Hard working men doing the job on site and very responsible.  I used the Angies"s Deal special and later added moss retardant service.  This is the second year I have used this company and will continue to do so with this level of performance.  Thank you Homemasters, Inc.

Very well.  They asked about whether the gutters had screens, if we wanted them removed/replaced and we discussed how they've been done in the past and how full they were from maple leaves & fir needles. They got right to work and finished in a very reasonable time. They cleaned up the area completely afterwards.

We ordered to work to be done after purchasing the service through Angies List.  Schedule was such that we had to wait about 5-6 weeks.  Turned out to be just as well, since lots of leaves fell through November when they came out.  They were professional about the work they did.  We were not home at the time they did the work, and it would have been nice if they had left a card or notice that they had been there.  They did call about a week later to let us know the work was done, check on whether we were satisfied with the job, and let us know that some work needed to be done on the roof based on their inspection..  We are looking at another contractor to give an estimate on the roof, since it's still under warranty.  I did ask Homemasters if they would like to bid on the work given that it was under warranty but have not heard back from them yet.

I was very pleased with the service provided. I thought the price was very reasonable. I decided to wait for rain to see how well the gutters were sealed and because of our dry weather this fall, that took awhile. After the first good rainstorm, it appears that all but one corner was fixed. I called James and scheduled a time for him to come out and fix it. He showed up at the scheduled time and promptly repaired the one leak at no additional charge. I actually called on the scheduled day to say I felt bad that he had to come all the way out (we live in the country) to only fix the one corner and that I could probably fix it if he told me the name of the caulk he used. He told me that it was ok and he would come out and do it. After watching what he had to do to fix, I was very glad he came out. Thank you James for the great job.

I want others to know that they need to be clear about what they are getting.  I didn't understand how they were going to install the products.  I spent a lot of money on something I am not sure and if I really wanted to get it done exactly.  The people need to be very sure with the communication about what they are doing and how they are doing.  They gave me a lifetime warranty.
