Write a ReviewThey didn't clear off as much as I thought they would. They turned the stuff from green to black which was good. They pointed out some other problems, they said they would get back to me about the additional work but I never heard from them. When they were here, the guys were respectful but they could have gotten more business out of me if they had followed up. For what they did, I didn't really get the quality I would have liked to have had. I would have paid more to get the quality I wanted. I expected it to be fairly cleaned off. They were two hours late. They weren't very responsive because they didn't follow through. It took a while to get on the books.

I had a gutter that was out of balance, and as a result, needed repositioning. When they realigned it, the area of overflowed stopped, but then a new area of overflow began with the next hard rain. I called, and they said that they suspected as much could happen because they actually needed to install totally new gutters for the problem to be fixed, and for that, I would have to pay an additional amount for a second visit. I did, and the problem was fixed, but then, four months later I get a call claiming that I never paid for the second visit. Unfortunately I can't find a copy of the receipt, but know that I paid. Now they are mad at ME, because they don't have record of my second (non-Angie's list) payment.

This company did a good job, and were very responsive from the beginning when I requested a quote. They even called to follow up to ensure everything was fine after the work. I was impressed with their professionalism.

It is difficult to answer the questions. I live overseas and hired Homemasters through Angie's List to clean/inspect the roof and clean the gutters on my Washington-state house. I received no communication from them after the scheduled service date; I had to contact them. I am not confident that the roof was inspected/cleaned because there was no written report, just an email that said the technician had no report. The email also mentioned that the gutters appeared rusty and they would be happy to provide an estimate for replacing them. The house is 13 years old, so I am skeptical that gutters need replacing. I probably wouldn't hire them again.

I have used Homemasters services twice in the past year for my roof. I live under firs, maples, and alders that relentlessly assault my roof with needles, leaves, cones, seeds, etc. In addition to the debris itself, moss has been a problem on this relatively new roof. Homemasters has performed wonderfully in cleaning the roof and gutters and getting the moss under control. When I requested additional services they quoted a fair price and stuck to it. The service was scheduled in a timely manner and completed on schedule.

Called and set an appointment. When no one showed at the given time, I had to call and find out when they were going to show. They finally came later in the day. They blew off the roof and cleaned the gutters but left much of the debris where it landed. They did clean off the front and back porches but left much of the debris if it landed in a garden bed or lawn.

The representative came to our home and measured the house and gutters. We agreed to the expense of replacing the damaged gutters plus the remining gutters on the upper level roof. Whe the installer came out, he informed us that the bid was only for the gutters on the front of the house. He did not have enough product to go all the way around the house. The estimator measured all the way around the house and we were never told the bid was for only the front of the house. The gutters are great and I would recommend them but the whole experience was dissapointing.
