I'm sorry there has been such a time lag between the service and this review that the only thing that stands out is they cleaned my gutters without scheduling a definite time, and the only way I knew they had been there was the gutter debris left on my porch and around the house.

HomeMasters offers many coupons and discounts. This enables us to provide quality service, at affordable prices, to many people in the Portland and SW Washington metropolitan areas. To ensure that any coupons purchased are appropriate for the job intended, we first schedule an appointment for one of our representatives to inspect the home and review the work that is to be completed. At that time, if there is any additional work that we recommend, the representative will provide that information to the customer, as an option. It is important that all customers and potential customers understand that any additional work quoted is 100% optional. After the inspection has been completed, the scheduling of your work is a simple process. The representative that completed your inspection will submit your service request to our Office Manager, Michelle, who will create a work order and Gerry, our Project Manager, or Donald Watkins, our Handyman Manager, will then call to let you know when the service will be performed. Most exterior services are completed during the day, when customers are not home. This is not a problem. Once the service is complete, we will leave a card to confirm that we have been there. If it is imperative that you are home when the work is completed, you have special instructions or you would like to meet the crew, please communicate that information to Gerry when he calls to schedule the service. We were very pleased with both the results of the cleaning, and the fact that the crew cleaned up all sidewalks, driveways, deck and patio so that we could not even tell they were here. Our roof looked like it was new again.

We purchased a "big deal" to have the service done.  It was done while we were at work so I can't comment about the workers' professionalism.  The roof and gutters looked good after the work was done.  Homemasters gave us an exterior report but it wasn't very detailed.

A "Good Deal" turned out OK at about 13% discount to market, but there were misadventures along the way.  One of two stands to support the freshly-formed gutter was missing from the truck; I loaned a recycling cart.  The paint for the end cap was gooey and had to be warmed by the cabin heater in the truck. The connector for the downspout was attached when on the ground and at the wrong location, so the entire first piece had to be scrapped.  The roll of stock was not enough to form a second gutter; this required a trip back to the shop.  During attachment to the eave, a tool was left out-of-reach on the roof; I got my ladder and rescued the tool while the workers held the partially-attached gutter in place.  A two-hour job took four hours.
