Write a ReviewThis was an Angies' List deal at $99. Two men arrived very late in the afternoon, almost dusk, to go up on a slick metal roof. I would not let them on the roof at that time of day. Their boss wanted them to do it. I thought they were putting their lives at risk. The men were relieved that I would not let them on the roof. They returned the next morning to a bright, dry day. They went on the roof and cleaned the gutters from on the roof, not from ladders, dropping leaves and debris to the ground and garden below. The debris will eventually just go into the soil so I did not mind. BUT, neither man was tied off with a safety lanyard. I prayed that no one would be hurt - and sue me and my homeowner's insurer. Almost two years has passed. I have been on the roof this summer and seen that the leaf guards were not put back and the gutters are clogged again because of that. HomeMasters did an adequate job, but not to a professional standard. I would not hire them again. Check their workmens' comp insurance before hiring.

The gutters looked fine at first, but one side is now hanging off and will surely come down when it starts to rain because they only secured the gutters into the endgrain of the roof joists and did not secure them any other way. Â The joists are old and there is some dry rot, which they did not tell us about. Â After noticing this, I called them right away. Â They have yet to return my call.

I expected my roof to look like it was new. I felt like they could have done more with the work. I cannot really hold it against them as I purchased a Big Deal and they did provide the service. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves. The area around my home was clear and free of any debris after the work probably because they did not power wash the roof.

They did a fair job of cleaning up after they were done. They got most of the moss off of my roof, but they moss that they missed is still green and alive. I asked them about it at the time and they said they had sprayed it and it would die. When they did a follow up call and I mentioned it, they said it would probably be good to get that next time I have roof maintainance.

The company sent over someone to assess the situation and they made several suggestions along with giving me pricing. I selected to switch some of my gutters over to larger gutters. They were very professional and got back to me with a date for install. The installers showed up on time and went right to work. I had to leave during the job and when I came back the work was done and the area was clean as can be and they even did a little extra work I had not asked for and they did not charge me for. They also called the next day to make sure I was happy with the work.

Very punctual and did a good job cleaning the roof and gutters, and treating for moss. I have used their service before and was pleased with their work. The only question was their evaluation of the condition of the gutters (which I have cleaned on an annual basis). The written evaluation they left indicated that the gutters were in poor condition, when in fact they are only a couple of years old, and I fail to understand how they could be in poor condition. I didn't read the evaluation until after they left, so I didn't have a chance to discus it with them, but I don't think it was accurate.

I initially called to replace just a section of gutter that had rusted out. The rep who came out showed me other places where rusting out was not as obvious. He took measurements and provided a quote. He explained through everything in the quote, which was nice. The quote was higher than I was wanting to pay, but he said he would throw in a roof clean/maintenance since I was that had it as a deal on here and lowered the quote a smidge. I did experience some communication issues with the office regarding said roof clean. I was under the impression that it would be done separately but it was done on the same day. I contacted the office 3x times over a week period before it was realized that it was all done the same day. This is understandable as project paperwork can wait in a "done" box. I was also billed for something that was included in my quote, but that was quickly resolved after a phone call. The supervisor of roof maintenance personally came out and verified my roof was cleaned, which was more than expected.
