Thank you for taking the time to post a review. It’s always good to hear that our team worked well to help one of our valued customers. Thanks again, Gary
Our existing gutters were rusted through and needed to be completely replaced. We contacted three companies for estimates. Homemasters quoted $1700 for total replacement of all gutters, which was the middle of the three bids we solicited. We went with them because they promised quality materials and punctual work, but did not spend two hours trying to sell us on a particular gutter system (as one different company did.) Their representative came out at the agreed-upon time and described the materials they would use. We asked about gutter guards to keep out debris. Their sales rep did not try to sell us an expensive product that we didn't need. He did explain what systems were good and bad for our particular house. We had them install new gutters and downspouts on the house and garage. We also had them install some new fascia boards to replace the water-damaged boards that were barely holding on the old gutters. It's been several months and the gutters still look good. We are satisfied with the quality. There were some minor difficulties with communication. I had asked about replacing a water-damaged soffit board, and the sales rep said this could be done. I was under the impression that this was part of what I'd ordered, but the workers who installed the gutters didn't have it on their work order. However, I wasn't charged for it either. Overall, a pretty positive experience. I would use them in the future.

The service went very well. They did an excellent job. I paid an additional fee to have them replace roof jacks and gutter flashing. I thought their pricing was reasonable. The technician did what they said they would and showed up on time. They completed the service in 3-4 hours. I had no issues contacting the company or scheduling the service. They were also very professional.

They did the roof and we are scheduled for a final walk through today. I had to pay a little extra for the roof since my roof is a little bigger than what the Big Deal allowed for. The workers did a great job! They got it done in a couple of days. There were a few nails and debris in bushes left behind. They did clean the gutters out which was nice. I would consider hiring them again, but I would get other estimates.

The salesman said 3 maybe 4 days, but it took 8 days as it went over a weekend although they did work on Saturday. They were a great work team as they made makeshift shelters over bushes and my gardens, and cleaned up every day after their work. The team was very kind and professional and really wanted to know how I felt about all the details. I would recommend them.

We talked to four roofing companies when we started thinking about putting a new roof on our home. When we made our decision it was based on the discussion we had with the representative, Phil Clark. Phil was the only person who talked to us about ventilation. This was important to us as our home always runs hot and we felt there was a problem with how the structure was vented. We had waited about 6 months from the time of the bid to when we decided to have the job done. When I called Phil, he told me he was with a different company now, HomeMasters.  Phil told me the company he had been with previously had decided to get out of the roofing part of construction. He also told me he had brought his crew with him to HomeMasters. I called the old company and talked with one of the owners. She confirmed that her company had decided to get out of the roofing business and gave Phil a very complimentary recommendation. I had some reservations about going with HomeMasters due to some poor ratings regarding a Roof Cleaning Groupon they had done a while ago. I didn't see any poor ratings regarding putting on a new roof though and decided to go with my gut and hire HomeMasters, Phil, and his crew.  I have spent a lot of time on my roof these past 20 years and felt I had some plywood problems. I told Phil about them and he said he thought we would only need a handful of new sheets, but the crew would keep me updated. After talking with Phil and doing some online research, we decided to add Eave and Roof Vents to a full tear-off and re-shingle. I also upgraded the shingle to the CertainTeed Landmark Pro and went with Diamond Deck instead of felt (same price).  The morning the crew was to start, they delivered a drop box in my driveway as agreed. Shortly thereafter the crew showed up led by the foreman Eugenio. They laid out tarps and covered my shrubs to catch debris. They had half the roof stripped by noon and showed me pictures of my plywood. As I had suspected, I had a major problem with de-lamination and disintegration of the plywood. None of it would even hold a nail. This came as no surprise to me, but I had them pull up some of the other side of the ridge and they found it to be worse yet. This meant the addition of 53 sheets of plywood needed to be installed at an additional cost of about $2500. I have a vaulted ceiling on one side of my home, and there was no space between the insulation and the plywood which I feel is the leading cause of my plywood issue. I had the crew install Styrofoam baffles between the insulation and the plywood to enable better ventilation (+$800). They also found I had only 6 inches of insulation in my attic space on the other side of my ridge and it was installed between the rafters against the plywood instead of between the ceiling joists.  I had them drop the insulation down to the joists and they added another 10 inches of insulation (+350). They found my bathroom exhaust fan was not vented, so they vented it for me (no charge). The plywood over my garage was fine, but there was no exhaust vent, so I picked up a screened louvered vent at HD and installed it myself in about an hour. The drop box was picked up the next morning. The entire job took 3 days and they did a great job cleaning up. The crew worked hard and efficiently. I've been up in my attic crawl space and the insulation looks great. The day they finished, a coupon came out for $500 off a new roof; HomeMasters readily took $500 of my final price.  In the end, I paid $3000 more than I anticipated, but I knew I had ventilation and plywood problems so I don't feel I was getting upsold. I am very happy with the end result and feel confident that I will never have to buy another roof for this home while I own it.  I highly recommend Phil Clark's crew at HomeMasters.
