I originally purchased a big deal for 2 hours of work. Â The technician was great and extremely knowledgeable. Â I liked him and the company so much I had him come back. Â Wish I could have gotten the Big Deal price again. Â The only concern I have is the hourly cost is a bit high, however, my technician ( Think his name is Jesse) Â is worth the money.
The service tech was very friendly, explained what he was doing to work the project in a timely fashion.

The installer was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up after himself. Â He did a fine job. Â I wish I could have incorporated the switch with the switch we already had on the wall, but that would have been more complicated. Â The job was very good, reasonably priced, and I am satisfied with the work.
Hello Member, Thank you very much for your kind words. We truly appreciate that you took the time to write a review for us. We are very glad that you are satisfied with the work. Thank you for calling Beacon Electrical Services. We appreciate your business. Best, Beacon Electric Team
The electrician was courteous, clean and helpful. My only objection is to the price. When I called Beacon, they said they had no hourly rate, there was a small show-up fee but otherwise they would quote me a price onsite. The electrician said it was a "difficult troubleshoot" and the troubleshoot would cost $325. By his own notes on the invoice, however, the total time on task was 30 minutes, and the repairs were tacked on top of that to add another $200. It seems like the projected troubleshooting cost could have been quoted over the phone. I feel hosed but didn't want to quibble with the electrician who was just doing his job, but the "minor" task (again, his words from the invoice) billed out at approximately $650/hr if we assume that a single 15a breaker costs $200. Update: Beacon listened to my concerns and refunded me the amount that was double-billed. I've upgraded my ratings as a result.

Hello (removed member name), Thank you for choosing us for your panel job. We are looking forward to the installation. Thank you again for your business. Best, Beacon Electric Team
This job went extremely well like prior jobs by Beacon Electric. Â We decided to install an Endless Pool in the garage to improve our fitness and general well being. Â But it required a 220V receptacle and the lighting situation in the garage was miserably dim. Â I reached out to Victor Figueroa, the same gentleman that guided me from start to finish when we decided to install a natural gas-powered backup generator. Â That job was completed in a highly professional manner. Â Placement of the generator was precisely correct to meet the exacting specifications of my county government and my homeowner's association. Â So I naturally turned to Victor to take on the electrical work associated with the pool. What made this job challenging is that the main circuit box is about a 40 ft run through a fully finished basement to the garage. Â I had visions of having to tear apart the drywall not only directly above the circuit box, but also the entire length of the ceiling of two room areas of the basement. Â To my extremely pleasant surprise, Victor determined that it would be possible to run the conduit through the ceiling without cutting any of the ceiling drywall! Â He simply removed several overhead lights in the ceiling and used these access points for guiding the conduit. Â I was spared the cost and misery of a dirty cut of the ceiling and then repair and repainting. I really didn't have a good idea of how to address the lighting problem, but Victor conceived an idea of installing six overhead lights directly above where the pool would be located and he found a way to tap into an existing circuit in the utility room of the garage and position the switch in a location that made it unnecessary to cut into 2x4 or wallboard. Â The entire job was done quickly and efficiently. Â And because they didn't need to cut into the ceiling or run a circuitous route there were savings relative to the quoted price that Beacon Electric returned to me in a lower price. Â Very happy with Beacon Electric and Victor Figueroa.
Dear (removed member name), We love our repeat clients! Thank you again for calling us with your electrical needs. Our technicians know and understand that cutting drywall is never a fun or happy time. We work hard to cut the minimum drywall needed and sometimes we do not have to cut any at all. We do hope you are enjoying your new recessed lights and your Endless Pool. I will share this review with Victor, as I know it will mean the world to him. He truly loves his jobs and helping clients with their electrical projects. Thank you, (removed member name), for your business. Best, Beacon Electric Team
