These guys did a great job -- from the owner of the company who did the initial inspection, provided options, and prepared the cost estimate to the two guys who did the installation.  The worked the entire day, inside and out, in cold wet weather with March snow on the ground.  They encountered a manufacturing problem with the switch box they were going to install, found a nearby place to get a new one, picked it up during their lunch period, and had it installed by the end of the day.  Very personable guys who answered all my questions and gave me advice on how to operate all elements of the setup.  I would use them again for other electrical work on the house.

The job included a new panel which included the (larger than the original) panel, breakers (ad included up to 20--I ordered several more which of course increased the advertised price of $1,199 to $1,400), labor costs and all county permits Following completion of the job a meeting took place in my Unit on Jan. 3, 2014 that included the Arlington County Electrical Inspector, my Building Engineer and myself, and the contractor's completed work was approved and a certificate issued. I am VERY PLEASED with the entire process, and happy that is one less problem I have to worry about. Several of my neighbors who learned of my project also had their electrical panels replaced.

This company was really accommodating.  They tried really hard to work with my schedule.  When Jesse arrived for the estimate, he was really friendly and provided new information that another company did not mention.  Given that I already had a quote from this other company, Jesse told me that they have a price match guarantee.  As a result, this lowered our cost.  Although Jesse originally had mentioned that they were booked 2 weeks out, they were actually able to schedule the work the next week.  Jesse came back out and did the work in about 4 hours.  He cleaned everything up.  We then sat down and went over the invoice.  I have no complaints.

We are extremely pleased with the service provided by Beacon Electrical.  They identified a problem that we had been living with for years.  Great service, communicated with as the job progressed and left my basement floor cleaner than when the job started.  We highly recommend Beacon Electrical.
