Victor and Luis are the best technicians from any company that I have ever worked with.   Polite, professional and very personable. they covered everything in the rooms with plastic, wore booties on their feet and left the house as clean as they found it. They recessed lights in the living room are absolutely beautiful. The new light fixture in the master bedroom makes it look as if the room had been upgraded. The free electrical inspection pointed out several things we need to take care of very soon.   There was absolutely no pressure from Victor to commit to the work immediately.  He pointed out they wanted us to be aware of issues and take care of them whether it was his company or other bids were obtained. The discounted rates he gave us for Angie's list brought the work price down to an amount we can work with.

We were very pleased with Beacon's electrician and helper, Victor and Lewis.  They came to install four recessed lights in our den. Victor made excellent suggestions for the exact  placement of the lights and then they got to work, after first covering the floor and furniture with drop cloths and plastic sheeting.  They were very pleasant, worked fast, and when they left, everything was back in place and clean and the floor had been vacuumed. Bob Hanifin had come out a couple weeks before to survey the job and did a thorough electrical inspection, making several useful suggestions, and provided  an estimate   We had taken advantage of a $399 coupon but the actual cost was higher because we upgraded the fixtures and asked for changes in the configuration of the wiring in the room.  We were very pleased with the look of the upgraded  fixtures.     We are quite satisfied with the entire experience.

Job went very well. Bob scheduled the estimate visit with me and gave me a very fair estimate and is clearly very knowledgeable.  In fact, he gave me some tips that actually cut down the "to-do" list I had - very nice!  Once the job was scheduled, Victor showed up on time and was very professional and also knowledgeable.  He not only did the job efficiently and effectively, but he also gave me tips on ensuring that our renovation work is done properly with regard to the outlets, etc. He set up protective tarps, wore booties over his shoes, and cleaned up the area very well afterward. I would definitely have these people in to do work again and actually plan to when it's time to replace my panel.

Very pleased with the overall project.  Making the appointment went smoothly, arrived on time, worked clean and professionally, reviewed all aspects of the work to be completed, then provided a walk through answereing any questions.

Bob came and gave an estimate which detailed all the added expenses of replacing the electrical panel.  He was very professional and informative.  The appointment to do the work was scheduled and had to be rescheduled twice, once by me and once by Beacon.  For each rescheduling Beacon was very accommodating to my schedule.   Victor arrived on time but was only aware of the electrical panel replacement and not the additional things Bob and I had agreed upon.  He immediately called in help and Luis arrived promptly to work on the other things while Victor replaced the panel.  As is certainly usually the case, certain problems became apparent but Victor was excellent at problem solving.  The work took longer than expected but Victor and Luis kept me informed and pleasantly answered all my questions throughout the day, reassuring me that I would get power back before they left for the day.   I do feel I got excellent service for a good price.  I rated the price with a B because there was one glitch concerning the estimate vs. the final expense which was partly my misunderstanding and partly an omission by Bob but we worked it out and I was generally satisfied with the result.  I would definitely hire them again.  I must give Victor and Luis an extra shout out for their professional demeanor and all around good attitudes.

I appreciated how iterative the process was. Eventhough we had mapped out where each light would be placed, before each hole was cut, I was re-consulted. They were extremely professional, took their time, and cleaned up! My only gripe is that I bought a "deal" and expected to pay around $400.00. With the upselling and all of the things not included (per the fine print), I ended up paying double. I would use them again, but will never again buy an Angie's List deal -- it was not really a deal at all.

Bob Hanifin was very personable and knowledgeable while walking us through the estimate and completing the electrical inspection.  He took the time to understand what we wanted accomplished and what our concerns were.  His proposal was done electronically and on the spot and spelled out everything that they were going to do.  Victor and Luis showed up promptly and stayed late to complete the job in one day.  The quality of the work was impeccable and they left the place cleaner than it was when they started.  They genuinely cared about the quality of the work and their prices were lower than some of the other estimates we recieved.  Our new panel area is now safer, cleaner, more organized and up to modern standards and code.  We even had power during the project.  I work from home and needed access to my computer and internet and they faciliated that.  We will be working with them again to do the electrical work for our upcoming renovation project.  I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the work they did.

Because of Victor's experience and abiility to be proactive the job was done efficiently and accurately. They were very mindful of my property and left it exactly the way they found it! (It's not often that you will find that kind of conscientious behavior in a contractor.) I also appreciate how they utilize modern technology and are very connected. It really speeds things up and adds to the overall experience. I would recommend Beacon Electric to anyone needing electrical services. Thank you Bob for you and your teams good work.

The experience was great. The guys were personable and very professional. They wore booties and vacuumed when finished. They also were careful not to let my three dogs run out the front door as the electricians came and went. I was able to leave them to accomplish their work while I worked at home.

I have a very large recreation room which was lighted only by lamps.  This was not nearly enough.  I have no experience in recessed lighting plans.  When Bob arrived for the estimate, we were able to have a very good conversation of the best way to set up the lighting.  Bob listened to exactly what I wanted and walked me through the best way to see that through.  I felt very comfortable telling him when I wasn't comfortable with certain things and he took great care to address them properly.  Victor and Jimmy actually did the installation and repairs and they were very professional.  They did a great job and everything was done according to the vision that Bob and I had created during the estimation phase.  After they finished, they took great care in cleaning up after themselves.   Once complete, the room was as clean as it was before they started their work. Great experience overall and I will use Beacon electrical services in the future.
