The electrician was very personable and he did fix my electrical problem, but the cost of the service was exorbitantly high. He did give me an estimate before-hand, but because it was a Friday afternoon in the middle of the pandemic lockdown and the issue involved my refrigerator, I went ahead and had them do the work. They charged me $400 for less than 30 minutes of work. They did solve the problem, but I will never use them again because of their pricing structure. After I posted the review above I received a call from the owner of Beacon Electrical Services and he addressed my concerns about the cost of the service - he explained the companys process and admitted that the charge was high and that it should have been a lower figure. He sent me a $175 refund to bring the overall cost down to a more reasonable charge for the service I received. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive the call and the refund and had a very satisfactory conversation about the whole situation. If not for the added hassle of having to address it this way, I would rate the company 5 stars in the future.
