Very well.  At the first visit the technician was to do the whole-house review ($99 special - very good deal); he also spent about 2 hours trouble-shooting the dead outlet, but ultimately could not locate the source of the problem.   He did not charge me for anything that visit ($99 was prepaid) since he was ultimately unable to locate the problem, and he said upon the return trip to install the can lights they would trace the problematic outlet.  Another technician returned on December 5th to install the can lights; that technician was able to trace the problem to another GFI that we did not know about; he also resolved the issue with my other GFI, and got my coach and deck lights and outlets on again.  He did not have the sensor on hand; I called back to remind them that he had promised to return (we didn't have to be home) to replace the outside sensor on the coach light.  Beacon sent someone out immediately to replace the sensor.  The sensor had not been on the invoice - that's how it was forgotten, but Beacon did not charge me for the sensor or the extra visit. I would estimate the technicians worked at my house (in all 3 visits together) for about 10 hours.  The $2000 covered everything - all materials (can lights, switches, and assorted supplies) and labor.  I felt I got a good deal, and their work is beautiful.  They also cleaned up behind themselves exceptionally well - no dust or debris left behind at all. The can lights are beautiful, all the outlets are in working order, my coach and deck lights are back on, and my coach light turns itself on and off again with the sunlight sensor.  I'm very pleased with their work and will definitely use them again.  In fact, I plan to call them back in the spring to replace my smoke detectors.

When I called the first time, the person took very little information from me and never called me back. I waited a week and called back and spoke to Heidi, who handled things immediately. Steve came out and gave us a quote and we were able to schedule the recessed lighting installation the next week. Vince did the service (we requested a non-smoker) and was very efficient and then lights look excellent! The job took less time then estimated. We would definitely use Beacon Electrical again.

I had gone through several estimates and Beacon Electrical had the best offer. They came out and waited for the NOVEC employee in the pouring rain, for the power to be turned off before the replacement. They gave us 10 minutes notice prior to us losing power so that we could turn off various appliances. The box was replaced within an hour and they contacted the county inspector to ensure the work was done up to code. Once the inspection was done, they contacted NOVEC to turn back on the power. The whole service was done in less than 3 hours which was fantastic. Other contractors quoted us 8-24 hours that our power would remain off and 3 times as much in cost. Beacon Electrical was professional and easy to deal with. They worked with us and gave us the best possible service. I plan on hiring them to do many other projects that we have to do.

When they guy came out he said that we did not need the panel swap out and he did other electrical work instead. We were pleased with them. They got the job done in a day and a half and the cleanup was fine.
