Work performed in a professional way and would use again

Very happy with quality and professionalism. Beacon was very flexible regarding dates; I had to re-schedule a couple of times due to work demands and a family emergency. Victor showed up on time, made excellent recommendations for light placement and installed the new lighting with a minimum of mess and damage to the kitchen ceiling. Also removed the old, unsightly flourescent fixture. What a difference! The electrical inspection turned up some things that the power company's electrical inspection contractor clearly missed. Best of all, the estimate to fix these discrepancies was fairly priced, with no "gold plating." Completely satisfied with the service and will definitely use Beacon--and Victor--again.

'Beacon had a Angie's list special for a core generator install.  Looked like a great deal, so I called Bob.  He showed up when he said he would and was just great.  Ordered the generator and the installation was just as he described.  Crew was professional and courteous.  Could not ask for better.  As strange as it seems, I am looking forward to losing electricity so I can make the neighbors jealous.Liked the service so much, used them gain for a whole house surge protector (Angie's list special again)  Highly recommend them.  Bob is great as is his crew.

The job went very smoothly from start to finish.  They even moved furniture to get access to the sockets, then vacuumed up any dust, and then moved the furniture back in place.  I was well taken care of, and the work was top notch.  One circuit was a bit troublesome, but they sent a technician out the next day to troubleshoot and resolve it.

Victor came within the expected time frame, prepared the area with drop cloths, and started to work.  He moved the box for the chandelier in our dining room which necessitated his spending a lot of time in our heavily-insulated attic.  He also replaced two switches associated with our chandelier, and which were old and not working properly.  He then began to install the new chandelier, and did everything he could to figure out why it was not working properly - it  blew out new bulbs and tripped the circuit.  Finally, he determined the actual problem with the new fixture which was faulty wiring inside.  He reinstalled the old chandelier, which worked properly, vacuumed, and cleaned everything up before leaving.

Bob (the owner) came out to our house to inspect our electrical system and provided us with a reliable cost estimate.  He helped explain to us (in plain English) the work that would be done, and how they would do it.  He also explained the permitting process and how Beacon would handle that aspect of the project.  The electrician who came out to do the work (Victor) was very thorough and hard working and patient in explaining the project to us.  We are happy with the services provided, and the project was subsequently inspected and approved by the county inspector without any issues. 

I recently contacted Beacon Electric to install an outdoor receptacle in addition to upgrading my service panel.  After obtaining quotes from three other firms, Beacon was the second lowest but seemed best able to support my requirement.  Their professionalism and responsiveness was outstanding.  Though a minor inconvenience occurred on the day of my panel upgrade (a circuit shorted and blew out a fuse in my microwave), the owner immediately called to assess the situation and remedied the problem to my satisfaction.  In addition, a check was provided to replace the entire microwave.  All the technicians who arrived were courteous, professional, and eager to chat and explain the process.  Bob (the owner) and Dante (a technician) went out of their way to make absolutely certain that customer service was their number one priority.  I would certainly recommend this firm.

Victor, the technician, was very communicative regarding his ETA, notifying me that he would be running a little late.  He was very informative, explaining his process from start-up to clean-up.  Victor cleaned up very well and I am very pleased with the final product.

Project cost more than I had planned but only because they had to redo the bad work of another (apparently not so) handy man.

They were quick, fast and installed the lights! :)
