Reviews
Write a ReviewMy whole experience with Beacon Electrical Sevices was positive! Prompt, friendly, extremely professional, and highly trained technicians (Mr. Jimmy Page) and customer service personnel. I will definitely hire them again for some follow on work.
Rich was very helpful and eager to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction.
They did what I needed!
Excellent work. On time, on budget, no surprises. Very neat and professional. Wold definitely hire again.
Beacon came to my house the same day I called. Their technician was thorough, knowledgeable and efficient. He told me exactly how he would proceed to assess and diagnose my problem, and provide me with options; he also apprised me in advance of the costs. He completed the project in a timely fashion, solved my problem and cleaned up after.
The Technician came out to my house. He was friendly, efficient, and experienced. He told me certain things that might happen like holes he would have to make in order to install new ceiling fan box. However, it turned out he found a better way. Lastly, he cleaned up after himself. I would say I can't do better in finding an electrician in the future.
Important work done promptly and professionally.
The electrician arrived the next day after my call. He was on time and very courteous. After diagnosing the problem, he indicated that all my dimmer switches on the floor (ten years old as part of a remodel) were all rated for incandescent bulbs only. He replaced all of the fluorescent (replacement) bulbs with incandescent bulbs in the kitchen and all of the spots worked fine. We discussed that incandescent bulbs are being phased out (are energy inefficient), and it will be very difficult to get replacements. He proposed replacement of all of the dimmer switches on the floor with switches that would except incandescent, fluorescent and LED lights. The total cost was almost $1100. Although I received a 5 % Angie's List discount, he was unwilling to provide a "bulk" discount for changing 5 switches. After he left, my research indicated that Angie's List has specials for under $200 to change five switches. Beacon Electrical appears to provide good service but at a very steep price.
We used Beacon to update the plugs and switches in our 40+ years old home. The Service Technician (Jimmy Page) arrived as scheduled, performed a complete inspection of our electric circuits and quickly diagnosed our issues. He provided options for our consideration and clearly explained all aspects of the work. The work was performed immediately, within the agreed-upon estimate and to our complete satisfaction. Mr. Page moved and replaced all the items blocking the outlets and did a thorough cleanup (even using a vacuum to get any dust that may have resulted in removing the old items) and final inspection making sure we were happy with the results which we certainly were. While their prices may seem high, the quality of their work and their labor guarantee makes it a good value. We recommend Beacon and Mr. Page highly.
Terrific service! Rich and his assistant John were very professional I will hire them for sure next time I need electrical services
Thank you for your kind words. Rich and John will appreciate hearing this review from you!
