It went great.  Jesse determined immediately that the switch was bad and not a larger electrical issue.  What a relief!  I also had him change a light fixture which went very quickly.  There was a little bolt missing from the box so Jesse put one from his toolbox ad I went back to the store where I bought the light to get the part that was missing.  Jesse told me to wait 24 hours to put the proper bolt on so that the caulking could dry. I also want to mention that I had been put on the schedule for this work to be done but I was also put on a list in case there was an earlier cancellation.  I told the scheduler that I was putting my house on the market and was trying to get things fixed beforehand; hence, the reason I was put on the list for cancellations.  They called a couple days later and said there was a cancellation for that afternoon so Jesse came that day.  I really appreciated being put on that list. Everyone I spoke with at Beacon was very professional and I would use them again.

Victor and Andres called 20 minutes before they showed up to give me a heads up. They were a few minutes ahead of schedule when they showed up. The installation was quick and went smoothly and they cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Victor fully explained how the new fan worked and gave some recommendations to make it most useful. He then provided a free home inspection that I agreed to. He wrote up the recommendations for that and gave fair estimates. The team was very professional, affordable, and friendly. I would definitely hire Victor again for electrical work.

They arrived on time and were very friendly and courteous.  The electrician replaced 2 electrical outlets in less than half an hour - more like 15 minutes.  He was supposed to hang up a ceiling fan, but said that since the wiring was not attached to the light switch, he would have to charge me an additional $237.00!  I thought he was an electrician!  When I asked about paying $119.00 for less than half an hour of work, he said that it would cover the materials he used for the outlets.  So, beware.  You get 2 hours of labor, but nothing else - and once they are there, they can charge whatever they want for materials.  I told them in advance what I needed done and was not told that materials were not included.  I felt pretty ripped off.  Still need to hang that ceiling fan . . .

This customer recently had her work completed by Beacon and was satisfied when our techs left her home. She says she plans on updating her review to reflect that. I will offer this advise, our coupons are clear, and the coupon she purchased clearly states that materials are not included and the coupon is valid for labor only. Please read the details of each coupon prior to purchase. We have nothing to hide and our prices and coupons are more than competitive.

It took awhile to get someone out to install (2.5 weeks), but you have to expect that when everyone's buying a good deal.  They called the day before the appointment to confirm, and the technician called on his way to let me know he'd be on time.  Arrived right at 1pm and it was a quick install.  Nothing too complicated - had to cut a hole in the dry wall adjacent to the breaker panel to install the surge protector.  Whole process took no more than 20 min.   Tech was knowledgeable and professional, would repeat if I had the need for any future electrical work.  Can't comment on the quality of the surge protector yet, but it's received good reviews online.

They were punctual and did everything included in the deal. They answered all of my questions. They are a very clean, polite, and professional company. Their communication was very good. They are very customer service oriented. I had to call to troubleshoot a light switch and they were very helpful. They try to get you the best value out of their service.
