I purchased the Big Deal for an electrical panel upgrade.  They came out on time and replaced the panel.  It was done very well and I am very pleased with the work they have done.  I am always leary about new contractors so I try them out on a single job before giving them more work.  I have them coming back out tomorrow to do more work.

Panel upgrade was fine Not sure the House Surge Protection was worth it.   I do  not see any difference in what was explained to me this would provide.

I had purchased a Big Deal a few months back and had the electricians hang two light fixtures and attempt to fix my doorbell, which, upon further inspection, had a burned out transformer that I didn't have a replacement for at the time of service. The electricians actually stayed over two hours between trying to troubleshoot my doorbell and checking out my attic fan to see if there was a thermostat installed (there wasn't). A month went by and I noticed that my lights were flickering more than usual, so I called Beacon for an electrician to come out and check out my rat's nest of a panel. Stephen came out and was incredibly professional, taking the time to explain how the house was supposed to be wired, which did not involve three separate boxes and a random assortment of wire clips. As we'd found plumbing repairs in the house that involved duck tape and a shoestring, I wasn't particularly surprised. Stephen quoted me a price that was based off of a prior Big Deal (that I had not purchased) for a panel upgrade that included grounding the house and the installation of a surge protector. I scheduled the work to be completed with no difficulty and got a shiny new panel in one day. Unfortunately, my lights continued to flicker, and eventually the whole house was losing power daily. I called Beacon back out to check the panel and the meter connections. Stephen was back out the next business day and performed a thorough check of all of his work and the voltage coming into the house. He didn't charge me for the trip even though he didn't find anything amiss. I called Dominion, and to make a long story short, the second repair man from Dominion found that a feeder line to my home and to three of my neighbors was loose. Now that the line is repaired I have no problems with the lights, and I have the satisfaction of knowing that my breaker won't trip every time I turn on the lights and my iron at the same time.

Very good, I am happy with the results and the much needed light in both rooms.  Please note that the package included basic (low cost) recessed light fixtures.  We did not like these and paid up to get something that we liked better.  The same is true of the dimmer switches.  I was left feeling that this package is purposely sold as a basic package with the onsite up sell expected of the tech (my opinion).  Had we liked the package as provided, there would not have been any cost increase with the exception of adding lights (+2 in the kitchen) and +6 in the family room.  In the end, we were happy to pay more for fixtures that we liked and the tech did a nice job with containing drywall modifications.  We are pleased.

The company did an outstanding job.  They were extremely professional and were even more tolerant with me than I expected when I missed an appointment.  The electricians arrived to install wiring from two bathroom heater/vents to the wall switches.  I had prepared the installation with cutting the holes in the walls and ceilings, installing the heater/vents, and the roof vents.  Because I know nothing about electrical work, I used their "Big Deal" in Angie's list for the 2 hours of electrical work.  The electricians arrived on time and efficiently wired the switches.  They were professional and cleaned up after themselves.  I could not be happier with my experience with Beacon Electrical.

.I am selling my house and needed to correct a number of issues. From 1st call to finish, this company proved to be highly professional. Jesse showed up on time and was a great person to deal with. He went right to work and quickly took care of a lot of things right away. As there were more issues than could be done in the first visit, he scheduled another appt. for 2 days later. Then Steven and Jesse came to expedite the work quickly. Later, Steven had to go to another job,but Jesse stayed til late that day to finish the job. His quality work with a great attitude made the difference in the overall great rating for this company.
