I hired Beacon Electrical for what turned out to be a very simple fix but they were exceptional in both the scheduling, communication, and follow-up. The technician was friendly, professional, and also took the time to educate me on the issue and the solution. I am very happy with the service I received and the cost was below expectation, which is a plus.

I had a house fire and the fire department damaged the panel while putting out the fire. In one day Beacon got a permit pulled, new panel installed, and power restored to the house so my pipes wouldn't freehand repair work could be started. Great company.

The work went fine. I wasn't happy because they were unable to give me an estimate. I wasn't given an analysis or a range of what it could cost until they started on the work. The technicians explained everything well and I'm happy with the work.

Work was acceptable but was about 50 % overpriced. I was stupid by not going with someone with a free estimate or a fixed hourly rate. I felt trapped into accepting the estimate so as not to lose the visit fee and then have to search for a new electrician. 780 dollars for 30 minutes of fairly easy labor.
