The two hour inspection was thorough and comprehensive. All my questions were answered. Recommendations were made on minor repairs/maintenance. A detailed itemized estimate was sent by email within 24 hours. I purchased the optional whole-house surge protector and the elec panel maintenance service. I scheduled the work for 3 weeks out. It was done and I'm satisfied with the results..The total cost was about $450.

I was very impressed with Steve from Beacon. I took my chances with an Angie's List big deal, and I am very happy with the results. I had hired Beacon for 2 hours, and I gave Steve a list of things that I needed him to do. He was so quick and efficient that he completed the list in less than 2 hours. I wish now that I had a longer list! I got my money's worth, so I can't complain. I have been looking for a reliable electrician, and I will definitely use Beacon in the future.

We are very happy with the service that was provided. They didn't come at the designated time, but when we called they were awesome and extremely responsive. Andres came right away and did a fantastic job. He was super! Great company!

Beacon Electrical Services was very good. I bought an extra back-up power surge and I think they charged me too much. They're really thorough. The only thing that concerns me was the price they charged me for the power surge thing unit, it was $108 and I went online and I saw that it was much lower, that was my only issue. They're very professional. Maybe I will use them in the future, I don't know. I used them because of Angie's List. The reason I'm saying B was because when they put the surge unit, they did a poor job and I have to tell them to c*** it, they didn't even do the cocking and they just coked it very poorly. No, I won't use them again.

Concerned that our handyman did not grasp our electrical problem, I joined Angie's List to find a reliable electrician.  Beacon looked like a great company, so I called and set up a troubleshooting appointment.  They contacted me to confirm the appointment.  They also called the night before to confirm, and the exectrician called when he was on the way.  He checked the problem, determined what was wrong and then at my request went on to fix the circuit.  There were multiple bad connections.  After he left, another problem with the same circuit occurred.  He returned to complete the repair at no charge.  The technician was completely professional and friendly.  I would definitely recommend Beacon and use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. It was for 2 hours of labor. He was done fairly quickly so he asked for more things to look at. They were honest and professional. He came right on time. He gave me a call before coming. Everything went well. The price for the Big Deal was reasonable.

Very friendly, cleaned up after job done.  Walked me through the process and afterwards showed me the panel and what was done.  Provided an estimate invoice before job was started.  Sent me a completed invoice for my records.  Suggested other electrical work for the house that should be considered, but no pressure at all.

I bought their Big Deal.  It was alright.  It was not an issue for them to come but they could not do what I wanted them to do.  They seemed to be fine.  I have bought deals before, not from Angie’s List, and my personal opinion is that it is always something else that they cannot do and I kind of felt that this was the same thing with them; they could not do the pendant lights but when I called another electrician, he was able to do it in a matter of five minutes.  He added a little bracket to the can and he was able to hang it so it was not that big of a deal.  I was not really pleased with that whole thing.  What they did was fine but what I wanted them to do, I think if they had a little more ingenuity, they could have figured it out.
