Scheduling was smooth and easy -- I am very flexible, except around the time I need to get my kids to the school bus, which is when Dee said she had her first opening.  She said "8:00 to 8:15" and I asked if we could make it 8:15 to 8:30, which was fine. She called the day before to confirm.  On the day of service,  the technician (Carlos) called while I was at the bus stop and arrived five minutes after I got home.   Carlos and I did a walk through of the things I wanted done, and he explained to me that it would take longer than the 2 hours that was part of my Big Deal purchase.  He carefully explained the options and pricing (flat rate our hourly), and said I could decide when the time comes how to proceed.   Thirty minutes in, and the two overhead lights were fixed (one had a faulty switch, one had loose wires).  The first ceiling fan took an hour and when he was done he said the second fan would take him another hour, leaving me with 30 minutes to cover out of pocket. When it came time to pay, I was surprised to be told that paying by credit card would cost me a 3 percent surcharge.  Most businesses don't pass that cost directly to the customer, but for a business this small (seven technicians plus ownership and administrative staff), I can understand making that choice.  I was happy that he told me.   Carlos also advised me that my electrical panel should be replaced, as it is out of date.  He said he would send me a proposal for replacing the panel anddoing a full-house safety inspection.  He looked at the meter outside, jotted some things down and  I received the proposal the following day, along with a call from Carlos to let me know he had done it. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism and follow-through of the Beacon team.  I don't know that I'll replace my panel immediately (I have several other higher-priority items to attend to), but when I do need anything electrical done in my home, I will call Beacon first.

David arrived promptly and immediately set to work replacing several old wall switches that were failing due to Pulte's substandard construction.  He worked so fast that I ended up running to Home Depot for more switches, which enabled me to replace almost all of them.  I was impressed by his neatness and diligence, and I will certainly utilize this company's services again if needed.

Two electricians showed up.  One of the electricians was not very experienced.  He had to ask the other electrician how to replace one of the outlets.  Took a very long time to finish the work.  The check I gave for the job to one of the electrician's was lost and the company asked me to send them a second check.  That same electrician quit shortly afterward.

Beacon employees are held to a very high standard while in the field and on the clock, clearly the electrician at your home did not fit our standards and found his way out.

My experience was fine. They did the work and also made some suggestions for other services. I did not find a lot of value in the appointment. Scheduling was great and they are very timely. One technician came out to do the work.

They came out and did an assessment.  Unfortunately the deal was for just 10 switches when we have 18-20 switches.  We will have to wait on the upgrade for the time being, but we appreciated their service and plan on using them in the future.
