"I d give 1st Rate Construction and Environmental Services a 6 star rating if it allowed me to do so! I discovered a major mold issue in my crawlspace. After researching for mold removal services, I saw the reviews for 1st Rate and decided to ask him to come to my house and give me a quote. Rick drove 2.5 hours to my house the next day, on a Saturday! He is very professional and prompt. The whole process was explained before hand, and in a few days, I had a quote, not just an estimate. Not one dollar above was agreed upon, no surprises. If he says he will be there, he is there. He definitely goes above and beyond. I wish all contractors were as honest and hard working as Rick is. The other reviews are spot on, not some paid-for reviews. He earned his 5 stars. I cannot day enough good things about him. I definitely recommend him without hesitation!"

He took the time to explain things to me and made me comfortable with our future purchase of a condo for my son. I tried to pay Mike for his time but he would not accept.
