Project was on time and on budget. Jodi was very responsive and answered my questions clearly. If she wasn’t 100% sure in a couple of things specific to my house she let me know and made sure to get the answer for me. I found all of the staff to be courteous, timely and honest. I would definitely recommend. My floors look great!

Easy to work with- no pressure.

Prospect Hardwood Flooring just completed installing 3/4 inch Oak wood floors at my house. The crew had to move heavy furniture, remove the rugs and padding, and remove tack strips. They carefully listened for areas where the subfloor squeaked when stepped on, then screwed those areas to stop the floor from squeaking. The installation from start to finish was flawless from my perspective. All joints are tight. Of particular note is the cove molding. The Miter joints are perfect, and I can't tell where the nails were placed. Cleanup was immaculate too. I've seen the negative reviews here, and I respect the opinions of the people who posted them. Clearly something happened when their jobs were done. When Mike came to my house to give me an estimate, I grilled him on those negative posts. I wanted to hear what he had to say. As one would imagine, there are always two sides to every story. If you are considering hardwood floors, you really need to get an estimate from Mike, and discuss any concerns you have. I'm so glad I did. The floors look amazing.

They took a floor that was stained with a very dark color with cracking and was able to turn it into a beautiful floor. Its like we got new floors with the work that they did.

We had Prospect remove old carpeting from our master bedroom and install new hardwood, sanded and stained to match the hardwood in our upstairs landing and the rest of the house. They did an incredible job and I am so pleased with not only the customer service (Jodi is lovely) and the workmanship. It looks incredible. Our house has two different types of hardwood (red and white oak). Initially, they were going to deliver red oak but when the delivery guys got here, it was determined that white was a better option. The guys turned around and brought the white oak. Super quick turnaround and I appreciate them caring about this stuff because it makes a difference since we were trying to match the new hardwood with what already existed in the house. On the day of the job, they arrived on time and did a wonderful job. They asked to stay a bit later (which we agreed to) and it meant they finished the job in a day and a half that could have taken up to 4 days to finish. They also cleaned the room, landing upstairs, staircase, and area just inside the front door of dust and debris from the removed carpet. Looks better then before they came. I would definitely work with them again.
