We hired Prospect Hardwood Flooring to remove the carpet from our stairs and install hardwood. The workmanship and customer service was very good. We are quite happy with the result.

Absolutely fantastic group, from start to finish. I've now used them for three major projects in my home, including the installation of wood floor in my master suite, the total refinish of all my first floor wood floors, and the installation of a laminate wood product in my basement. Mike, Jodi, and the entire team are super communicative, professional, and honest. Their crews complete the jobs ahead of schedule, and are clean and organized. Very fair prices. Couldn't recommend Prospect more highly.

Prospect refinished my upstairs hardwood floors and stairs and installed new hardwood on my main floor. The refinishing and installation were very well done and the finished wood is gorgeous. That said, I had problems with the workers, who generally did not speak English well, and did not follow my instructions. As a result, my request to remove baseboard to make sure the new floor was laid as close to the wall as possible - because I don't use any shoe molding against the baseboard - wasn't followed. This resulted in gaps between the edge of the floor and the edge of the baseboard. This left me with only two choices: use shoe molding, which I don't like, or cover the affected area of wall with a bookcase. The workers also forgot to install molding on new risers on the stairs. They brought shoe molding and I asked them to instead use the same type of molding that was there before. I found the company very apologetic about the issue of the new floor not extending under the baseboard in one area, and responsive to my other complaints. I was given a discount due to the issue of the floor not extending under the baseboard. I am also confident that the missing trim on the stairs will also be addressed. Overall, although I'm still not pleased about the baseboard issue, the quality of the installed floor is excellent and the refinishing of the existing floors on the second floor was also done well.

They did a great job. Timely, nice quality and were able to find a way to do the flooring in a closet without using heavy machinery, after listening to some of my suggestions. Very customer friendly.
