The work that was done to our floors was excellent. They added new oak wood floors to an existing 50 year floor and can't tell a difference. Excellent company. I highly recommend this company.

We needed the waxed oak floors in 2 rooms and hall/foyer to be refinished and we wanted them sealed. The floors are 27 yrs old, and had been badly stained. Mike gave us an estimate that fit our budget. The crew did the job in just 2 days. The floors look beautiful! Mike & Jody were flexible with the timing, and very easy to work with. The crew was polite and ensured we were updated throughout the job. There was minimal dust, and they made sure to hang plastic to keep it from getting everywhere. The work is guaranteed. We're glad we found this company through Home Advisor.

Prospect matched the existing 3" oak flooring in our double unit, nailed it over cork which softens our steps and added thresholds for smooth transitions between rooms. Mike found exactly the same Spanish marble tile as in our foyer which Jose installed over a waterproof membrane to eliminate any future damage. The team managed to equalize the two sections to eliminate the need for any steps between the hardwood-floored library and marble-tiled glass- enclosed balcony. In addition to having to move heavy furniture out of the work areas, Mike sent Trace who packed our library into 50 cartons and disconnected our stereo system. After the flooring was finished, Trace reconnected the stereo system and put all the books back into the eight bookcases in virtually the right order. Jodi coordinated all the activity, proactively and in response to us via email and telephone. Prospect performed a complex job professionally, courteously and for a reasonable price. They took our schedule into account and always showed up on time.

Loved them. The floors turned out better than I had hoped they would. Could not be happier!

Our living room and dining room hardwood floors were showing signs of wear after 45 years of use. The clincher was that our dog had wet the carpets on the floors in numerous places and left dark stains. Prospect replaced some of the wood where the dark stains were and then refinished the floors in both rooms. The floors look like new! Prospect did a great job, and I found Mike Blot to be very professional and knowledgeable.

They were on time every day and always cleaned the site before they left every day.
