From the estimate to the delivery; this team was very professional. The Project Manger, Jodi, communicated with us every day during the project - her involvement kept us involved and informed. The crew was amazing and very patient with us as we went through the color selection process. And the floors look AMAZING - the team was able to make 35 year old hardwoods look brand new!!

In early March, 2024, Prospect Hardwood Flooring installed the floors on the main level of my home. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding in every way. Beginning with Mike who came out to evaluate the work to be done, he patiently explained every aspect of the job, answered all my questions, and then sat down and wrote out an estimate of the work to be completed which I believed to be more than fair. As I already had purchased the flooring from another company, the estimate Mike gave was based on the cost to install the floor and any other incidentals that needed to be done to complete the work. Although it was a little while before I could start the work, (I had other work going on that needed to be completed before the floor install could begin), the team at Prospect Hardwood was very understanding and continued to check in with me to see when I would be ready to begin the work. In particular, Jodi, the office manager, was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the company and the work to be done, and patiently adjusted the schedule to meet my changing requirements. Once the work was started, Jodi kept me informed of who would be doing the work, when they would arrive, and what to expect. If there was a change, she made sure that I was aware of it. Finally, the team that came to install the floor was courteous, friendly, professional and fast. Reggie, and his team did a fantastic job on the install completing the work in one day. I have had many compliments on the craftsmanship of the work performed. All in all, it was a terrific experience, and I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended!

They gave great recommendations for areas of concern. Needed wood added in spots where cabinetry and columns were removed. I can't tell the old from the new. The refinishing is beautiful. We are enjoying our new floors.

I was disappointed with the communication below and the fact that they took payment for job completion prior to me seeing the job. My request: Hi Jodi, Sorry for the delayed response as we have not moved all of the furniture and fixtures back to their original place. The guys did an exceptional job matching the colors and refinishing the floors. There was some dust and debris left behind in the house and driveway also some stain on the molding (I will do touch up paint). My biggest concern is the garage that had my table full of fixtures was left with saw dust and debris from cutting the molding and maybe cleaning the machines. I do not want the guys back in my house from previous experience with contractors they see to have an attitude with returning. However, I would request $100.00 credit for consideration and a small amount of the stain mixture for scratches. I would propose that your company have the guys take exit pictures. I will be willing to provide a positive review regarding the actual work performed. Reply: It is nice to hear you are happy with the project. Unfortunately, the issue of stain on the molding and dust is a common when refinishing floors, even in the garage. This is why we prepare our Customers in the contract, to cover all belongings and be prepared for paint touch-up. Final comment: Jodi, thanks for your response. That is an unreasonable, irresponsible position and relieve your crew of any responsibility and respect for the customers property. I am disappointed and regret that I trusted your company to provide a professional service.

Mike the owner is very ethical and trustworthy, his crew did a wonderful job all in one day.

Mike, Jodi, and Oscare were fantastic. Mike took the time to help us talk through our options and ultimately helped us decide on the perfect floors (natural, hw). Mike stands by his work so he has since had his team return to add some nails into squeaky areas. I've recommended him and his team to coworkers, neighbors, and friends alike.

This is the 4th time I had Prospect Flooring do work for me . First two was refinishing wood floor, third installing wood flooring and now installing luxury vinyl flooring. They are fantastic. Excellent customer service, excellent work. I highly recommend them.
