My main concern with this company is that I felt safety of both the workmen and the customer was given short shrift. The power cord for the sander was badly frayed in several spots and the end seem to have been spliced on from an old dryer cord. I had specified a low VOC polyurethane specifically because of concerns about fumes in winter. When stains were found in the wood and Mike recommended I darken the finish to minimize the appearance, he did not warn me the product he recommended gave off very strong fumes. If I had been warned, I would have open the windows in the affected rooms before treatment -- in spite of freezing temperatures -- and arranged for the animals to stay in a kennel and myself in a motel. Coming home late at night, I found the fumes sickening. Mike did answer the phone when I called in spite the late hour and verified at that time I could open the windows. Still I spent the night in the basement family room with the pets, an electric blanket and two HEPA air filters going. So while the job looks beautiful and Mike was always prompt answering calls. I would think twice about hiring again as well as refinishing in winter.

The customer service was extraordinary. Mike and Jodi consistently stayed in contact and answered all my questions. Every time Mike or his people needed to show up (estimate, drop off materials, review completed work) he or they were on time. I only received one other estimate, which was not as good as the one provided by Mike. I picked this company because I needed a quality job completed on time. I am sure someone could find a less expensive company, but if you need top service, solid quality, and a company that values your time, this is the hard wood installation company to choose.

In addition to new hardwood I had a couple of areas in previously laid hardwood in my kitchen and living room that needed repair. They did a great repair job in addition to my beautiful new hardwood stairs and hallway. They were neat and clean and timely. Great experience!
