Prospect Hardwood Flooring including Mike and Polly were very responsive and helpful at the beginning of our project. The installation team was very patient with us while we chose our floor color and helped with mixing stains to create exactly what we were looking for. The crew was punctual and very professional throughout out the process and we are overall very pleased with the new floors. Our disappointment began with the moving of the furniture and ended with the lack of concern and followup once the project was completed. Mike let us know that they would move the furniture out and back in for an additional fee. I do not believe the team was trained to move furniture correctly. We had two pieces damaged and we also ended up moving about a quarter of the furniture back in ourselves as the timing Jodi (who took over for Polly) offered did not work with our schedules and we did not want to wait another full week to get the furniture back in. When Mike came out about a few concerns we had with the final flooring we do not feel he listened and took the time to understand our concerns. He felt our concerns would be easily addressed and had the team come back out to do the touch ups but there was no communication between Mike, Jodi and the team as they did not understand what needed to be done when they got here or have the right product on the truck to do the work. It did get done later that day but not without a lot of frustration. We expressed our disappointment regarding the damaged furniture, the confusion about the touch ups and that we ended up having to move the last of the furniture back ourselves. The communications after that from Jodi were defensive and somewhat evasive and we never heard anything further from Mike although he was copied on all communications. The lack of concern and follow up for our complaints, after the project was completed, from both Jodi and Mike is the only reason that we would not use PHF again.

When I asked a question, sales agent met at the house and proceeded and literally 'shoved' the contract in my face. This was after on the phone saying 'I cannot believe I am having this conversation. After looking at the floor, he conceded that there was a problem and would send a team back to fix it. The office called prior to the team coming out to say that the job manager wanted to apply another coat of polyurethane on the entire floor. While nice to offer I said no. And I stated that I just wanted them to fix the one area and that was all. Getting to the house the afternoon the work was done, I found that the extra coat was applied. THEY APPLIED A WATER BASED POLYURETHANE OVER THE TWO COATS OF OIL BASED POLYURETHANE I HAD PAID FOR. All I can say is clueless. Two separate contractors asked about my floors, when I explained the saga, they just rolled their eyes. One of them actually say it was not a good job.

I spent over an hour writing about the excellent job Prospect Flooring did for me ... Mike, Jodie and their team are by far the best all around. only to have the whole rating special write up wiped away during the advisor rating submission process. Thank God Prospect Flooring was way better than the rating tool. BLUF : if you want a top notch flooring company then look no further than Prospect Flooring A+++ company

We had carpeting removed and our oak floors restored. The refinishing staff were very professional and communications were easy. Jodi called us every day to confirm arrival time and to review instructions. That really made our lives easy! There were a lot of holes from removed carpet nails that showed up black. They filled many of these in the most obvious places, but doing it all was impossible. One area where there was missing flooring was not repaired; they said it could not be done. We are pleased with the overall look and finish.

had white oak floors installed and finished on site...a big job and they did beautiful work. They worked hard and got it done in the time quoted and we are very pleased.

Prospect Flooring did an outstanding job refinishing the floors in one of our bedrooms. They arrived on time Monday morning and were completely finished by 10:30 AM on Tuesday morning -- just a little over 24 hours. The pricing was beyond reasonable. They did an excellent job matching the stain with the hall stain. The staff in the office and those completing the work were professional and very responsive. The floor looks beautiful. I have already booked my next job with Prospect.
