Reviews
Write a ReviewThey did a pretty good job of the sealing part, but some bluestone that was in our walkway was broken. We went out of town and when we came back it was replaced. They were very responsible in taking blame for the broken bluestone. Overall we were pretty happy with them.
They charged me $895 for each crack. They showed up on time and they did a good job and everything, but they were extremely high on price. I've been around this kind of stuff a lot of my life, with construction and this and that, and for what they did and how long it took them, they were just way overpriced. I bet they didn't have $100 in materials for both of them, if that. They did both of them in a day. The guy that did it, I confronted him about the price and he said, "Yeah, I know. There's really not that much to it." I had another small crack and he told me I could take care of it myself and where to get the materials. As far as being easy to work with and all that, they were OK. The only thing I can say, really, is that I thought they were way, way overpriced. Now, that may be the nature of the beast when you're talking foundation; it may all be that way. They really were good, but the price was pretty steep. It's fixed, it hasn't leaked and everything's good. I wouldn't use them again in the future because of the price, unless I checked around and their price was the norm.
They were prompt and did a good job. I did have to have them correct a couple of things before they left. But everything seems to be pretty good!
Great communication and interface. Continued follow up although we are still trying to finish the final inspection. Very knowledgeable and up-front about issues discovered during work. Very good foreman on the job who was willing to explain status each step of the way. Worked with our HOA time lines.
They gave me an estimate, which is what I payed. I do not have an reason to complain, except that I was startled by the price. They got the job done in only three days.
Very well. Everything was explained. Two people were under the house while one person was in the house with me.
We had used Indiana Foundation before and have been very pleased with their work, this was no exception. We had noticed some cracks in our walls and in a particular corner of the house and they suggested having it stabilized with the piers. Didn't need to be home at all during the work that took only two days to complete.
They showed up on time to do the work. They did everything that they said they would do. They took care of all the problems that we had.
Keith was very informative and courteous. He inspected the crawl and the foundation. He told us that the crawl had some mold and dampness because of insulation that had been sprayed on the walls four years ago, which also sealed up the vents so that no air could get in or out, thus causing moisture and buckling of our wood floors. He also noted the foundation was cracked. We did not have the work performed because we didn't think that we needed the sump pump and all of the other things that Keith was trying to sell us on.
Prompt and knowledgeable estimate. Definite scheduling. Careful and professional workers. One-day job.
