IFS made the process very easy for us, they made us feel comfortable about the work to be performed, and they took a lot of care to make a very messy job (namely jackhammering portions of the cement floor and later pouring new cement) left no mess at all. Everyone was very friendly and what could have been a stressful situation was a good experience.
We had an excellent experience with Indiana Foundation! We needed our basement waterproofed, wall anchors for structural stability, a new sump pump, and new windows all in our basement. Dave was top-notch. Very friendly, on-time, and thoroughly explained everything. Work was performed in 2 days. No water problems since. The super sump works great. The new basement windows are beautiful and all the work looks terrific and professional. We are preparing to have them do some more work for us, thanks to the great experience! The job was a little more than we wanted to spend initially, but the professionalism and quality of the work more than makes up for that. You do get what you pay for, and we highly recommend them!
We had a rough start with the company from the begining. We first had to be rescheduled our original appointment because another job they were working required more time/effort. Once the appointment was scheduled and Indiana foundations employees arrived on the job, the company that was contracted to expand our crawlspace opening did not show because of their prior commitments to another job. The contracted company, which was through Indiana Foundation, arrived the next morning after the Cleansystem was completed and used their wet saw to expand the opening. Which of course allowed slush and slewy from the wet saw to land on the newly installed Cleansystem. I was upset because then there was a big mess on the work that had just been completed. Once Indiana Foundation was contacted about this situation, they immediately sent an employee out to clean the crawlspace.  The other situation with Indiana Foundation arose with the expansion of the crawlspace access from the basement and the header support. I kept asking about supporting the opening that was being made larger but was not getting complete answers. (Customer Service, Sales Rep., Crew Leader) So I requested a general manager or someone with an an engineering degree to look at the problem and offer some educated suggestions. After a couple meetings, the generals manager After about four visits we were finally done and I am very happy with the out comeon
The process started with a salesman coming out and inspecting the crawlspace to determine the cause of the problem and what to do about it. Â He explained that there was inadequate support under the load bearing walls, which were on either side of the main beam and that was causing the floor to sag on either side of the main beam. Â He then gave me a quote stating what they planned to do and the estimated price. Â He said they would try to make the floor more level, but might have to come out again later to jack it up some more. Â The work was scheduled for almost two months later. The workers came at the designated date and time and performed the quoted work at the quoted price. Â They were professional and worked efficiently. Â The lead worker fully explained everything they were doing to make sure I understood. Â I am satisfied that the foundation is now adequately supported. Â My only complaint is that the floor in the hallway still has the noticeable dip, although it is somewhat better than before. Â The lead worker explained that they could not completely level the floor without causing damage to the drywall in the house. Â He also explained that there was another area of the foundation that would need to be lifted in order to help fix the dip in the hallway. Â That area was not addressed by the salesman and the cost to put in jacks to lift it was not included in their quote. Â If I wanted that area addressed, I would have to get another quote and pay additional money. Â The workers did make sure the area was adequately supported (with shimming). Â I feel like the salesman was remiss in not noticing the additional problem area and including that in their quote to me to begin with. Â Overall, I am mostly satisfied with the work done as the foundation is now supported, which was the main thing. Â I just wish I had known the full extent of the problem up front.
One and a half days and it was done. Of course, the under floor insulation had already been removed by me.
We asked for an estimate and we hired them. They performed the service when scheduled and as of this date there has been no water problems in the basement.
Excellent job, very punctual and attention to detail, especially the supervisor. Very pleased with final job.
Professional, knowledgeable, curteous... from office, to sales, to crew. A job well-done! My husband underwent emergency open heart surgery during my install, and Evergreen went above and beyond to accomodate me. We even got a call from the owner to see how he was progressing. Now, that's custome care!
All workers and foreman was great and were continuously always working to get the job completed. Foreman, Tyrone, always took the time to explain the process as they installed the piers. Price seemed a little high, but great job.
