Reviews
Write a ReviewThey were absolutely the best. I would recommend them to anybody. They traveled the three hours up here, they stayed in a hotel three days and two nights and were here three days and they underbid the local guy. They were super nice. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.
We have had a lot of problems with water coming in and we have not had any problems after Indiana Foundation Service fixed our basement. So far everything has been dry and it's been wonderful because we have done the basement 3 times. We didn’t want to do it again anymore.
Indiana Foundation encapsulated our crawlspace last fall and installed a sump pump. During the recent rains we noticed that the drain they installed was holding water and not emptying. We called them to come check it and the two man crew was there waiting for us at the appointed time. They scoped out the problem and immediately set about to realign the drain so it would work properly at no extra charge. We were very pleased with their service.
They did a great job. They were very professional and honest.
They were there on time in the morning for the job, were considerate and helpful in explaining the work that was done. They took great care in not making a mess of our house and when the job was done they thoroughly cleaned up. They did a very professional job and so far their work has resolved the water problems we were having.
Over all it went very well they finished in 2 days the only thing that happened was a miss communication on how long the drain was suppose to run away from the house.
Went OK. The salesman that I met talked so fast and raced through the presentation that I did not feel like I wanted to make the decision for the owners although they had OK'd me to do so. The waterproofing had to be done so I had no choice. It was this firm or another that I didn't feel as comfortable with. These are messy jobs. My main disappointment was they left the job and said it was finished and it wasn't until I spoke to the tenant that lived there that I found out the system had NOT been "plugged in" to an electrical outlet. I would have thought that someone would have checked it before they left. For $6,800 I feel that was a glaring mistake.
They did a fine job, cleaned up afterwords and we are pleased with their service and the outcome. Â Their foreman, Chuck, was very knowledgeable and professional and took time each day to inform us of how they had progressed and what they planned the next day.
The crew showed up on time to begin work. Less than an hour into the project, we were informed that our 1920's house had no footings under the foundation, and that to continue with the original plan was unwise, as the basement walls could fall in. Demolition of insulation in the crawl space also showed evidence of standing water that had not been visible before. The foreman for the project reworked the estimate, given the new information, and we were told the project would almost double in scope and cost. We expressed concern about the cost, and he called the main office, spoke with them a while, and was able to decrease the overall cost a great deal. While it was still more than the original estimate, it was within our reach. The crew worked very hard. The project was messy and extensive, but in the end it is all that we could have wished for. Our basement is warm for the first time in years. It is dry, and during the last rainstorm, we had no water on the floor. We have gained more storage space, and we can tell the house itself is warmer and dryer. There is no longer a "cellar" type of odor. Shortly after the project began, one of my daughters, who has allergies, began coughing due to the dust kicked up by the project. After the work was done, Indiana Foundation provided us with a very large air purifier and dehumidifier as a loaner until the air was clean and her cough stopped. They were responsive to my concerns in all things, and especially re: my daughters health. We are so pleased we did the work, even with the increased cost. I believe that the value of what was done for our home was well worth it, and Indiana Foundation was a pleasure to work with. We would use them again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend them to anyone else with these issues.
We would like to thank this member for sharing their experience with our company. It is true that with foundation repair, unforeseen issues arise once the crew begins concrete removal. We appreciate your patience and willingness to rework the plans and move forward with the additional work required. We are pleased to hear this member is satisfied with the work done and hope they enjoy the extra storage space and dry, warm basement.
Constructed new -- all in all everything went very well. I am pleased with all that was performed.
