Reviews
Write a ReviewThe team.of four young men where very professional and very knowledgeable of their duties for the company. Like to great big thank-you to Ethan, Aiden, Desmond and Mamadi. They also clean up after them else. I was very impressed with men. As I'm also in the commercial Industry.
Brandon and crew were good to work with and did a good job.
Hired for crawlspace drainage and encapsulation. Horrible experience. Completely misdiagnosed the problem and then oversold me on services that were likely unneeded. Shoddy workmanship noted after the first day and required me to crawl the entire space every evening to develop a list of everything that was done incorrectly. 3 day job turned into 3 weeks in order for them to fix all the mistakes. Would not utilize them again even if they paid me to let them do the work.
I would NEVER use this company for a job. Got a quote, when they came out to do the work they said it would be twice as much as the quote. When I called in to escalate to find out why. They said that guy now doesn't work for the company but since I am existing customer I have to go thru the customer experience department to get someone else to come out AND no one ever returns my calls. Worst COMPANY EVER! They did the same thing to my brother!
Hi, Mandy. Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we regret that we missed the mark this time. We're committed to finding a swift resolution that meets your needs. Stay tuned for further contact. - Indiana Foundation Service
I’m a 70 year old Senior. I had sagging at the end of my hall, in my 3-BR ranch home. I got five other quotes, none of which suggests a problem with my foyer or kitchen. They sent out some 20 something young man -that clearly did not know what he was doing to complete my main beam replacement project. I mentioned to David (the 20 something) and his assistant IMMEDIATELY, that my kitchen cabinets had pulled away from the wall and the foyer was tilting. Several times. He assured me that he would run the beam right up under the kitchen between the kitchen and the foyer, to the garage door —to correct it! I had an intense disagreement with him when he tried to leave and did not make any attempt to correct the damage. The damage they had caused. I used my burial money to correct this sagging in the hall-and they left me with a huge problem with my foyer and kitchen that WASN’T THERE BEFORE, that they caused, & knew they caused. Indiana foundation, now Groundworks, sent Blake to my house under the guise of completing my first adjustment to the main beam, and as I had instructed them, to formulate their repair project based on a certified Home Inspection Specialist that I had hired to let me know what, specifically, Ind Found. should do to correct the serious problem they created. They promised to schedule the repair work at that time, but have ghosted to me ever since coming to see the damage they caused and formulate the repair. I have not been able to get in contact with them since; I’ve left numerous v-mails and texts. They have no integrity towards my project and nor will they have ANY integrity towards yours.
I know this is a book, but please read before contacting them. I don't consider this project completed but it was the only way that I could write a review. We still have 1 major issue that I can't get them to fix. I was stupid & paid because they said they would be out to fix the encapsulation. Double stupid because I trusted them. 3 months - still not fixed and now we have water in the crawlspace. Phase 1 took 11 days instead of 3 - a lot of crawlspace work (broken water pipe that they did not break.) Phase 2 was and still is a disaster. Scheduled for 13 - took 34 days. New subflooring (2 - 4 ft) was needed on all outside walls, a main beam, jacks.. We still have unlevel floors, we have uneven matching between new and old subfloor (+ other issues). The project manager did fix some of the issues. It took 7 weeks (renters living in the garage, rent free because that was fair), to complete and fix some of the issues. But the wall encapsulation is still laying on the ground - in water.

They were very fast and professional. Completed the job early and looks great. Will use them in the future
Re: Indiana Foundation Services problems; Be aware that they did not finish the job at my house as they claimed. Because I cannot get into my crawl space, I wasn't able to check the work done last Sept. They were to pull old drains, retrench and completely place new drains (tiles), also add a couple jacks and 2 new sump pumps. Late this past winter, I noticed a light on in part of my crawl space through the floor where the furnace drain goes through (not seen from the crawl space door due to a foundation wall). When they came out I also mentioned that I heard one sump pump working but never heard the other one. After checking, he said there was water in the crawl space near my garage (this was the only place water had been seen PRIOR to the work being done). I kept waiting and calling and IN Foundation kept saying they were waiting on a report from this guy. They finally sent out someone else. He found that not only had about 43 feet of drains never been put in, but the second sump pump had never had electric hooked up. Later I found the electrician had only been told about one sump pump from IN Foundation. I also have found that since they turned out the light in the crawlspace, the first sump pump no longer seems to be working! They are supposed to all come out this month to complete the $19k worth or work that was supposed to have been done and I have asked for them to include an engineer to be sure the work is done and completed correctly. There should have been someone who should have been checking the work done. I sent Groundworks a letter and never heard from them. Not feeling very confident about the work yet to be done and am questioning whether I even needed those jacks. Trust lost.
From the initial quote by Jon to the work completed by Nick and Mike, my experience with Indiana Foundation Service has been easy, accommodating, and top notch. Everything was done as discussed in an efficient manner. I am very happy with this company and would highly recommend IFS.
We want to thank Justin Gardner of Indiana Foundation Service. Our large back room had a huge crack in it and the floor was badly uneven. Justin inspected the problem inside and out, took a lot of time to explain it to us very clearly, and even showed us videos of how Indiana Foundation Service uses push piers to lift the foundation, and once it is in place, pulls the inside floor up to level. I can't say enough about Justin, who was the very definition of professionalism. He explained the problem and the process for fixing it so clearly that my wife and I both understood it. He gave us an incredibly fair estimate of the cost--to our relief--and scheduled an appointment. I can't begin to tell you how grateful we are to Justin. A total professional and a truly nice and decent man.
