First, they applied the Reinforcers to one of the walls. Then they dug a trench through the cement (about a foot wide)of our basement floor around the entire basement walls and installed the water guard. They dug a deep hole to house the water pump. They covered the waterguard and filled in the holes with gravel and then cement. During their waterproofing job, they discovered a disintegrated elbow pipe from our kitchen sink and arranged for a plumber to fix it. They also recommended a plumber to fix another problem we were not aware of. The whole process took only 3-1/2 days. The staff did an excellent job, and were friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the quality of the work and products. We'd recommend Basement Systems to anyone needing waterproofing.

I'm going to have them return to reinforce my basement walls. They were the best estimate of a few that I had gotten. They did a great job and I'd recommend them to anyone!

THEY DID A GREAT JOB, AND IT JUST TOOK THREE DAYS. ALSO, BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF MATERIALS THEY USE (NO DRYWALL) WE DID NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANY DUST. IT WAS GREAT!

THE TEAM PERFORMING THE WORK WAS ON TIME, PLEASANT AND DID A NEAT, CLEAN JOB. I WAS NOT ENTIRELY PLEASED WITH THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECTS OF THE ORGANIZATION. WE MUST HAVE BEEN CALLED AT LEAST A HALF DOZEN TIMES BY THEIR OFFICE PERSONNEL IN THEIR EFFORT TO OBTAIN THE COMPLETION PAPERWORK THAT WE LEFT AVAILABLE TO THEM IN THE FRONT DOOR, BUT WHICH THEY NEGLECTED TO PICK UP FOR DAYS. NO SOONER DID WE BRING IT BACK INSIDE THAN THEY STARTED CALLING IN A SEEMINGLY FRANTIC FASHION TO GET WHAT HAD BEEN AT THEIR DISPOSAL ALL WEEK! IN ADDITION, THE FINANCING PAPERWORK WAS HANDLED IN A SOMEWHAT SIMILAR FASHION, IE. INEFFICIENTLY. I ALSO DID NOT PARTICULARLY CARE FOR HAVING PAPERWORK SPRUNG ON ME WITH THE ARRIVAL OF THE WORK TEAM, ASKING, IN EFFECT FOR A BLANKET RELEASE OF LIABILITY IF THE WORKERS DID ANY DAMAGE IN THE COURSE OF THE INSTALLATION. IN SUMMARY, THE WORK ITSELF WAS DONE WELL, BUT WHAT AN ANNOYANCE THEIR DISORGANIZED PROCESSES ARE!

WE LOVE OUR BASEMENT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM TO ANYONE. THE CREW WAS PROFESSIONAL, NEAT, POLITE AND VERY RESPONSIVE TO QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. THE CREW WAS BETTER THAN THE OFFICE, WHICH SEEMED SOMEWHAT DISORGANIZED. ALSO, INSIST ON A PERMIT IF IT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. WE HAD TO INSIST ON A PERMIT AND THIS REQUIRED A RETURN VISIT EACH TO COMPLETE THE INSPECTION AND TO INSTALL A REQUIRED SMOKE DETECTOR.

THEY INSTALLED A WATERPROOFING SYSTEM IN AUGUST OF 2003. MONTHS LATER, IT OBVIOUSLY WASN'T PERFORMING SATISFACTORILY. THEY CAME AND REVIEWED THE ORIGINAL WORK, AND THEY DETERMINED THAT THEY DID THE ORIGINAL WORK INCORRECTLY. THEY MADE PLANS TO INSTALL ADDITIONAL WHITE WALL. AFTER DELAYS, THEY DID THE ADDITIONAL WORK, AND WE STILL EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS. THEY DECIDED THAT WHITE WALL WOULD HAVE TO BE INSTALLED THROUGHOUT THE BASEMENT. WE AGREED TO REMOVE EXISTING PANELING, EXCEPT FOR A FEW AREAS WE HAD QUESTIONS ABOUT. THEY SAID THAT THERE WERE PROBLEMS REINSTALLING THE DROP CEILING. THE WORKER SPOKE WITH THE OFFICE, AND I THOUGHT THEY HAD FOUND A SOLUTION. NOW THAT THE WORK IS DONE, IT'S VISUALLY HORRIBLE. THEY DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT THEY WOULD BE DOING. IF THEY HAD, I COULD HAVE MADE MY OBJECTIONS BEFORE THE DEED WAS DONE. NOW, THEY SIMPLY SAY THAT THEY FIXED THE MOISTURE ISSUES, AND THEY WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR RUINING THE LOOK OF OUR FINISHED BASEMENT.
