We called Ohio Basement Systems in March 2016 to get an estimate for our basement. We had been dealing with dampness for years and growth on the walls that ran along the dive way side of our home. They had an inspector come out the next day, he was very polite and able to offer several solutions. The cost was reasonable  but, my husband and I wanted a little time to think it over. The inspector never made us feel pressured which was very important to us, we wanted to really think things over without jumping in. We had two other estimates that same week and decided to let Ohio Basement Systems fix our basement. We were able to begin work this June and the crew showed up on time and took the time to even lay plastic down in the entry way to our basement so our floors were kept clean. The crew leader kept us up to date on the progress they were making and was happy to answer the questions we had. The job was completed in three days and our basement looks beautiful and so far has remained dry even after the recent heavy rain we had. We are very pleased with the way our basement looks and we will be recommending them to all of our family and friends.

This company was friendly and very professional. They actually asked to come out a day early. The work was completed within a few hours. The price was within my projections. Communications were excellent, with reminders and follow up.

It went better than expected on my basement system installation.  My primary installer and technician - Terrance - did a fantastic job end-to-end, especially on the prep work to ensure a clean home afterwards and avoid any additional clean up.  I was very impressed with how engaged and service-orientated Terrance was, it clearly showed in the final product too.  Most importantly, Terrance was able to quickly detect and troubleshoot while on-site another area of basement needing to be addressed immediately that all others bidders/competitors basically simply missed in assessing work, which saved literally hundreds in potential re-work and a lot of additional frustration.  Great job Terrance and also Troy who helped him out too.   

Adam, the foreman that worked on my house, as well as his crew were very professional and extremely thorough in their work. He took the time to explain every part of the process to me in detail, showing me pictures of all the work they had done down in the crawlspace. I feel confident in the job they did and will definitely recommend them to others!!

The initial sales process was really professional.  We even had powerpoint presentation.  The Cost is quite high.  But it is understandable with a company that even has a TV commercial.  I was told the job will be completed in 1 day. On the day when the work was supposed to be performed, the service person Matt and his crew told me that they had equipment issues.  We had to reschedule. The next time he showed up, the equipment failed int he midst of the procedure.  So we have to postpone a second time.  He also left a hole in my yard from trying to get out.  Instead of just leaving it there, he came and told me about it and that he would fix it.  At this point I was getting really skeptical at the quality of work. Matt showed up a 3rd time.  Got a majority of the work done. But it started to rain that day and he continued working in the rain.  He stayed as late as he could to get the job done.  He couldn't finish that day but came back out a 4th and even a 5th time.  It felt like the work was dragging on.  After talking to him I realized that he was a perfectionist.  He wanted to make sure each segment was perfectly leveled and not just eye balling it.  He had a leveler trying to level everything.  I was impressed and respected his tenacity on getting the slabs leveled. When he completed his work he did as he promised to fix the hole in my yard he caused.   This whole experience makes me think that if they have service providers like Matt working there, then I will be guaranteed a perfect job.  I will definitely keep them in mind when I am ready to do any future work

Work was performed on the side of my house.

From start to finish they were very professional. They arrived on time and reviewed the project with me before beginning. Every time there was a deviation, they asked me before proceeding. Everything looks great and they did an excellent job cleaning up. That were friendly and answered every question I had. Would definitely recommend them.

I had a good experience with this team. Solid customer service and consultation up front. Workers arrived on time and were courteous, professional and cleaned up after the job. Would have rated 5 stars, except that the trench drain was not installed square. But it seems to have resolved my drainage issue so I'm overall satisfied with the work.
