Everyone, from the Office Staff to the crew that came out to do the actual work were great. They were efficient, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, cleaned up after themselves. They returned calls and kept me informed at all the steps from start to finish.Victor Golowin, who came out to give us an estimate, was extremely helpful. This company was also very affordable.

John and his crew did an excellent job. They all are hard workers. They work very neatly, and answered all questions. They are very professional and represent Ohio Basement Authority well. They are the best workers we have had since living here.

We were told by the sales rep that it would be a one day job. Day one there were 3 on the crew. Day 2 dropped down to one (I was told that the one that appeared to be in charge had to go to another job for an emergency that came up). The person left to do the job had a tile job and either did not have the right equipment or did not have the experience. Day 3 - tile was recut. I had to point out and make calls about certain details that were left undone. End result - the area appears to be much better than it was and hopefully will stay dry. However, the job was very sloppy (sloppy caulking, sloppy tile work and sloppy paint work, and small details left undone- such as a metal piece under the door left unattached, and a door that was supposed to be repainted, undone.) On a positive note, the employees were all very friendly and respectful.

We were having a problem when it rained with our gutters not draining and overflowing water against our homes foundation. After we were unsuccessful in trying to snake the drains, we called Ohio Basement Systems. They were very prompt to send someone out to appraise the situation and let us know our options. After meeting with them we decided to hire them for the repairs. On the day of our scheduled repair a crew of nice young men showed up to work promptly as scheduled. We were greeted by the crew leader Adam who explained everything in detail to see if we had any questions before his crew began to dig up our yard. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions. The crew worked hard the entire time they were here. We even tried to get them to take a little break for some homemade lemonade, but they just pressed on. When the job was complete they back filled the trenches nicely. Now here is the best part, the very next time it rained our gutters were no longer overflowing. :-) We want to Thank Adam and his crew of hard working men for a job well done!! They fixed the wall in a timely manner. I liked the 10yr warranty. Everyone was professional from sales to completion. Another realtor told me he had other homes fixed by them and they did a great job. It made me feel better about choosing them. I thought the price was very reasonable too.

From start to finish the process was solid, but the crew that came out and did the work were great led by foreman Adam.  They were there on time, completed the work that was supposed to take 2 days in 1 day and worked until 7pm Friday night to get it done in one day vs. 2. The clean up was great and Adam even fixed a little concrete gap in my basement floor when he was doing the concrete work for no charge.  This was not a big deal, but it is refreshing to see a contractor that will go above and beyond and pay attention to the details.  In addition, every one on their crew smiled the entire day, which is not easy to do when you are doing the hard work these guys were.  I work with a TON of contractors privately and professionally and all too often contractors are not the happiest folks in the world and it can be challenging working with them as a result, but these guys all smiled and had a positive attitude all day, which added to the whole experience.  Kudos to the whole crew. These guys were a referral to us and I will refer anyone I know needing work to them.  That being said, It has not rained yet so I have not had a chance to test how the system actually works....But from a service point of view they exceeded all of my expectations and they deserve a great thumbs up as a result. 

Very well. Within schedule, great cleanup, great instructions. They were even very careful when pulling their truck into our driveway. Kyle and the crew worked diligently, and the cleanup was done very well. The job was explained well, answering the questions we had about future needs/concerns for our walls.

My husband and I cannot say enough about what a great experience this was for us. The flooding issues we'd been having were an absolute nightmare and the peace of mind we were given once we were able to see a dry basement after a big storm is just beyond words. The team arrived on time both days, and the crew leader, Adam explained the day's work, then they immediately got to it. Everyone involved was incredibly kind, professional and hardworking. We were so pleased to see that the paneling they needed to cut to get to the floor below it was done very neatly, so that we could slide it down and put some more above it at a later time. They also made sure that we turned off our AC before they started to use the jackhammers, so that dust wouldn't fly through our home. The job took two days and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. As well, once the job was finished they took care to clean up and make sure things were back to the way they were when they came. We will absolutely be recommending this company to those we know, and will return in the future should we need any other services!
