Reviews
Write a ReviewRelocated downstairs toilet to upstairs, removed old upstairs toilet, procured and installed new toilet downstairs, scoped the sewer line, and repaired a small leak under kitchen sink. Owner Rob was very friendly, professional, and obviously a master plumber. He and his grandson arrived in full PPE, gave me an estimate and offered to do the work immediately. The estimate was far more than I expected, and although I had appointments for two more estimates, I decided to go ahead and get the work done rather than risk two more groups of people coming in. Rob did a great job and completed all work within a couple hours. I would definitely recommend Rooter Man of Puyallup.
Work was quick and on time!
Good experience, goid work and got the job done at a reasonable cost.
We had a leaky shower faucet in our upstairs shower that needed repair. Ron from Rooter-Man showed and before he touched anything wanted me to agree to pay $275! After 5 minutes he said the entire shower would need to be replumbed and the cost would be $2200. I declined, so we decided just to cap off the pipes so we still use the water in the house for now at a cost of $500, Ron said it would take over an hour and was very labor-intensive! He was done in less than 20 minutes and I asked him ? was this really worth $500? Ron then offered me a $100 discount and dropped his shower replumb price to $1800. This whole experience did not feel very ethical and a little like purchasing a used car.
We were scheduled to repair a damaged old Delta single handle tub/shower faucet that the customer had tried to repair himself. The main supply to the house was off when we got there (off for more than 24hrs). The customer had twisted the valve trying to take off a holding nut that keeps the inside parts from leaking. I gave an estimate to change the boots and springs put it back together to test for leaks which we did and because the valve had been twisted so much it leaked when we turned the water back on at a soldered joint in the valve body. The valve was installed w/ old 1/2" galv pipe with no unions. To get the customer water for the weekend we had to cut the hot/cold lines and plug the 90's. We did the job for $395.00 plus tax...was originally $495.00. We did two different jobs...one to rebuild second to give customer water..there is lots of galvanizing piping for a new install. The price was fair!! Rob Hanson. Owner.
