Reviews
Write a ReviewThey were courteous, respectful and professional. I'd use them again in the future, if needed.
Very quick response and courteous. They fixed a do it yourself job and inspected another do it yourself job for us. We have confidence knowing the plumbing we tried to do ourselves is now functional and safe. Thanks!
The price quoted was honored and work was performed perfectly.
We purchased a new house (a tri-level) and moved in right before Thanksgiving. There was, and still is, a LOT of projects to be done. One of the big ones is changing out all the "gold" fixtures to either brushed nickel or oil rubbed bronze (depending on which floor level). My husband is very handy and can do most of the work, but for the new kitchen sink (it has a garbage disposal) and fixtures, and the bathtub fixtures, he was more comfy hiring a plumber. Now a funny story. Please read the entire post.17 yrs ago I had a major plumbing issue in the house we just sold (I bought it 20 yrs ago, before I met my husband). The only company that could come out was Rooter-man. A 4-day job turned into 5 weeks of me showering at my neighbors and peeing into a bucket. When the company found out my homeowners ins. would cover the cost, THAT increased from $3k to $6k. Bless PEMCO, they still covered it. The young man that was sent to do the work would show up late, stay 2 hours, leave and not come back. Repeated calls to the owner garnered zip till my father got hold of him with a few choice words. The owner ended up finishing the job himself. Luckily I never had any issues with the work. THAT company was bought out by the current owners in 2004. The new owner is the one who came out to give us a FREE quote (try to find anyone who'll do that nowadays. I dare you!) Rob and his assistant actually arrived earlier than scheduled (after calling to let us know), looked at our needed work, gave us their quote, and we had him do the kitchen that same day since he was available. He will be back to do the bathtubs after the special order brushed nickel fixtures arrive. Rob and partner were careful to cover the kitchen floor so as to not damage it, and they wore shoe covers in the house, took them off when they went to our garage or their truck, then back on once in the house again. Having new carpet, we appreciated that effort. And FYI, I never rate any company or person, perfect. No one is perfect :) , but we'd definately hire Rob, again!!
Rooter-Man does quality work but for the work to be performed I felt they were pricey. I would suggest getting a quote up front and comparable quotes for work to be performed.

The work was done quickly and efficiently.
Rob was on time. Rob got the work done to code which was challenging given the small space to work and the limits of a manufactured home. He left the job cleaner than when he found it. Now, my top plumber to refer out.
Rob was courteous and professional. In the end, he found that we didn't really have a leak, so he only charged me a flat fee of $161 for going under the house to conduct the inspection. It turns out that we have merely had a very rainy fall, and some ground water has seeped in through the foundation. There is some consolation in knowing the source of water in one's crawl space.
He did a good job, was very personable, explained things well, gave the bid before he did the job.
