I requested to have my deck flashed and leveled. I was quoted $489.06. This price did not include supplies, so I expected to pay around $500 which I thought was a lot. After the repair man (Rob) left to get supples, we received a call saying they did not include in their original quote the cost of leveling the deck and increased the charge to $600 and something. We were not happy with that but were not sure what else to do since the repair man had already been here (we were not sure what they would charge for the service call due to their policy of charging $199 if they came and we were not here). We agreed to the six hundred something charge thinking it was an all inclusive charge. Rob the repair man was very nice and was here for about four hours which includes his trip to pick up supplies, and I do not have any problems with his work. However, when I checked my credit card charges we had been charged $732.66 for the repair. I learned an expensive lesson from this repair. I will need to get multiple written quotes if I use HomeAdvisor again.

We never want our customers to feel surprised or caught off guard by our prices. To clarify, we do have a 24 hour cancellation fee, but if the scope of work changes when we arrive and the price goes up then you absolutely have the option to cancel and weigh all of your options without the cancellation fee.

Good work, timely repair
I had a small repair job, a 6' section of gutter & downspout needing to be re-attach to the house. After not getting anywhere with 3 gutter companies, I was put in contact with Pronto. They called me on a Tuesday, we setup the appointment for that Thursday. They arrived when scheduled did the repair, everything went as expected. Very happy to finally find someone that was willing to actually do the work.

Punctual, professional, and thorough. We had a couple of pieces of wood siding that needed to be replaced, gutters repitched, insulation swapped, and new siding painted. Jason went above and beyond expectations!

Pronto was very concerned about the confusion and inconvenience that poor communication caused me. I have to say that they we're very diligent trying to make it right. In the end, they sent a great handyman who really knew his stuff. I'm very satisfied.
The option of maybe is missing from the selection if I would recommend. The work it self was done ok and on time, which was positive. The process of getting the estimate was the most inaccurate I've seen. Project cost was almost double to what they estimated. The estimate was done by pictures only, not by visiting the actual site and there was no actual binding quote given. Hired them only because I was in a hurry to get this done and had no time to get multiple quotes.
Make sure you have a work order, make sure the cost is on that work order, don't give them any money until they finish.
