We hired Pronto from Wisconsin to do a repair of a store fixture in a Atlanta Mall. Work was scheduled & completed to the satisfaction of the store management. We will use them again in the future.
Hang Pictures
Had three drywall issues. Pronto showed up on time, did excellent work, finished early than expected, and the total bill was actually a little less than the estimate. I'd highly recommend them.
I needed some soffit replaced after a tree hit the house and tore off the gutters nearby. Pronto was on time, did good work, and all for a fair price.
Professional, caring. Impressed that they removed their homes before coming into my home.
I hired Pronto for a repair to a gate. While the end product was good, the price was not ultimately what I expected. The quote after sending several pictures was $800 +/-, which was ok. (Actually invoiced $866). I had 3 problems with the service: 1. The guy was here for 5 hours, 1.5 hours of which he was gone to get materials at a home depot that was 4 miles away. Leaving that time in that works out to over $170 per hour. 2. I was told that I would only be charged for the cost of materials. I had originally ask them to just use the existing materials wherever possible since it was only a couple of months old. I was told that they did not do that. They would only use new materials for the repair. When complete, MOST of the existing material was used anyway. What I saw that was new was 5- 2x4x8 ($35), Gate hardware ($15), and 1 new picket $6). That total approximately $60. Anything left over was strapped to the top of the van and went back to Pronto with them. I was charged $134. My request for an itemized invoice was ignored. 3. Ask the Pronto rep that quoted it for an itemized invoice for the materials which I never received. Actually the invoice didn't arrive by email until 3 day's later, even after multiple requests and promises that I would have it tomorrow. Overall, while I'm happy with the repair. It did what I needed, I felt like I paid way too much for what I got.
I can't honestly rate the work since I canceled while the handyman was on site. He reviewed the work I needed and a separate area of ceiling in another room. He communicated to the company that it was a larger job than expected. They then called to tell me they'd have to provide a new quote and the work could not be done that day. AFTER I left work hours early. The worker explained that tape was undone so more work was needed. Tape? He walked me back upstairs, pointed and went, 'Oh. I thought that was tape.' It was my pencil outline of the water stain. i didn't use the company.
This guy resurfaced my bathtub, but the surface was very bumpy and irregular. I had also requested an off-white or almond finish, but got stark white. I will now have to sand it own and hire another contractor to do the job correctly. In stead of costing $295, the final job will cost more than $800 to do twice. Don't hire this guy, he's bad news.
