Write a ReviewI hired Pronto Home Repair about a year ago. I had an upstairs shower stall that was leaking through the ceiling below. Pronto came out and looked at it and told me I had a leaking shower pan and it needed to be re-grouted. So we made an appointment and the shower pan was re-grouted. The leak persisted. Next, they came back and told me the shower pan needed to be torn out and retiled because the leak was a bit worse than they thought. So, they come out, tear out all the existing tile from the bottom half of the shower and replace it. Now I have spent about $3000 but, as long as the leak was fixed, all was well. Now the shower is still leaking. This morning I was told that it must be a plumbing problem and I need to call a plumber! I do not recommend Pronto Home Repair.
They have been terrible. They left the job incomplete, a wood pile in my backyard and never did the installation of the door. Multiple phone calls and they keep promising to have someone call me back and it hasn't happened. No invoice was produced but they charged my credit card for half the work done. Never using Pronto again.
Courteous and quality service.

Good job. only problem was I did not like that they switched contractors to finish the job. The adjuster who apprised the job was not as skilled as i feel he should have been. The contractor told me of a major problem that i have with my deck, the adjuster did not catch it. I had to explain again what need to be done. He was not as good. I recommend the contractor who will be doing the job be with the ajuster.
The handyman gave good advice as far as what he could see that needed to be done. He worked long and hard until he got it done. When they saw that they were running behind schedule they notified me promptly and also gave me options on weather it was still okay to come out or if I wanted to reschedule. I really appreciated that opposed to me just sitting and waiting.
This is a great company. I used them twice now and have been very happy with the quality of the repairz, the care they had for our house and post repair cleanup.
You have to have a job worth $250 to have any work done. I found this out the second time I tried to use them. They don't tell you that till they come to do an estimate. This must be a new policy. The first time I hired them, they hung a curtain rod. It fell down within a month. The worker was nice, but didn't use a stud to hang the rod I guess. If you have a lot of work, they might be good. But, if you just need small things, I would not recommend. They are polite when you call.
They were knowledgeable, thorough and cleaned up completely at the end of the project.
Very good job.
