I learned of this vendor via an Angie's List Big Deal.  The technican arrived midway within my window (1:30-3:30).  Although his inspection revealed no problems, he suggested that I consider having an additional vent cut in the basement (to better eliminate some dampness).  I'm considering this.  In any case, I purchased an add-on two inspection package (spring and fall) for $199.  The vendor will remind me when it gets close, but it will be up to me to schedule conveniently.

Their scheduling people got us on the schedule within days, their serviceman showed up on time, was very professional and appeared to to do his work thoroughly and completely.  He took the time to explain his findings in detail.  Luckily we didn't have any problems and we are very happy with the service.

When we got the initial quote Alex was prompt and courteous.  Supreme Air was the last company we received a quote from, and the only company where the rep asked me any questions about what we were looking for, or about the issues we were having.  Alex took the time to find out what we were looking for, and to answer all the questions that we had.  He was also the only person who took pictures of the existing equipment and ductwork for references.  The quote was very competitive with the others that we received so we decided to go with Supreme Air.  Due to the upcoming 4th of the July holiday and a few other jobs we had our date rescheduled twice, but the company was very apologetic.  The only thing that would have made the scheduling experience better would have been if I had received more periodic update on the date.  I had to call a few times to get updates, but whenever I did the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The day of the install went off without a hitch.  Initially Alex thought that the new unit could sit on the same mount attached to the side of the house that the old one used.  Unfortunately the new unit was too large, so Alex came out and brought the installation team blocks and materials to build a pad for the new unit to sit on next to the house.  The installation took exactly 8 hours as I was told, and the team was even able to change the location of the new thermostat for me since the old one was mounted near the center of a wall rather than near the edge.  My wife and I also purchased a service contract with Supreme Air for regular maintenance to the system so we could extend the warranty on the labor to 10 years.  Overall we are very happy with the experience and would recommend Supreme Air with no reservations.

Our heat pump was on its last legs. Our service tech, Ryan, added freon for us at the end of April, letting us know there must be a leak somewhere in the system. We hoped to get through one more summer, and meanwhile we asked around to our friends, seeing what they had paid to have their systems replaced. Alas, a month later the freon was already gone. Ryan came back and topped it up, and we made arrangements to get an estimate for a new system. Jeanette worked with us to prioritize our estimate appointment, and Alex came out the next day (a Saturday)! He analyzed our needs, then showed us our range of options, with absolutely no pressure. The estimate he gave us was right in line with what we had heard "on the street," and, frankly we didn't want the hassle of waiting and getting additional estimates. We made our choices (adding in the humidifier, the air purifier, and a duct cleaning), and Alex told us that we would get a call to schedule the installation. On Monday Jeanette called us and set up the install for that Friday! Friday morning the two installers arrived and worked all day, cleaning up everything before they left. Ten days later Alex returned to inspect the install and to complete the BGE rebate paperwork. We are loving our new system!
