It all began when my AC unit died on some of the hottest days of the year.  Supreme Air was one of 4 heating/air conditioning companies I called that morning -- and the only one who could send someone over to look at the unit that day.  The compressor gave 20+ years of service, but had reached the end of the line. I called in 3 highly rated companies on this site to give me an estimate to replace the AC unit. Only Alex from Supreme Air gave me a bid on the work to be done which included getting rid of my 20-y-o oil burner -- convincing me that it wouldn't be as cost prohibitive as I thought. When the 2nd company came back with an estimate on the new AC/gas furnace job within $50 of what Supreme was quoting -- I knew I was getting the best deal on this equipment. Alex promised it would all be done in one day - and he was right. It all went smoothly. The Supreme Air installers came first -- arriving on time and immediately getting to work. One installer went to work replacing the old oil burner and connecting the new gas furnace while the other installer worked on getting the old AC unit removed and the new one installed on a new pad and with new connections. The subcontractors who removed the oil, the sludge in the oil tank and the tank itself showed up on time about an hour later. They did a great job getting all of that removed from my basement and in an environmentally safe way!  The subcontractors who put new flashing in the chimney showed up on time that afternoon and finished up quickly and with little fuss. Then it was time to test everything -- heating worked and, most thankfully, the AC has been wonderful. The installer in the basement even went so far as to re-vent my gas water heater in the upgraded chimney and provided a new drainage pipe through the basement wall.  Alex came back to do an inspection of the work a couple days after the installation. The money I got back for the removed oil paid for a one year service contract on the new equipment (though the AC & gas furnace have a 10-year-warranty on materials, the service contract will guarantee installation past the original 2 years).  It was a fantastic experience -- all was cleaned up after they left and there is only the County inspection to be done.

Overall it was good. Professional staff. Happy with the work they did. The Geothermal unit we installed works beautifully. Only problem that I had was that the whole process was delayed for a month without any explanation. Apparently they had to change the subcontractor company that does the digging, and everything was backed up. We were calling and waiting for a month was kept told that it will be done soon. Things were okay at the end though and I'm overall happy with the process. Had it for a year now and it's running without any problems.

Recently I had to argue with them about the service. As far as installation and all goes, it was good but the service after the warranty, not to my satisfaction. The zone controller was under warranty and I had to problem getting that from HoneyWell but their price was kind of outrageous for the time. The time was less than anticipated and they charged me for the full time and because I have a service contract I was supposed to get a discount and I didn't get a discount. I have since dropped the contract and am going with another company. They are a good company. It's not the service I'm complaining about, it's the after warranty service I'm not happy with.

I called 4 other providers who couldn't fit me in. Eric - in customer service - got me a tech today. I received the bad news that my central air compressor was seized - but the techs were really nice and explained everything to me. Since the unit is over 20 years old - it needs to be replaced rather than having the compressor replaced. While not the outcome I wanted - Supreme Air fit me into a very busy schedule. Awaiting a quote for a new unit.

From Mike who came out in the beginning right through the installers, Roy and a nice young man, whose name I did not catch, the service was absolutely exceptional!  Dealing with the office too was wonderful, very responsive.  The installers were right there, on time, and had it in the same day, just as they said they would.  Everyone I dealt with in this company was not only polite but also, very knowledgeable.  I couldn't be more pleased.

They stayed for a few minutes, and left.  A few weeks later we had problems with one unit and a new provider found a significant amount of Freon was needed and there was a clogged drain in the other unit.  These problems would have been discovered if they had done their job correctly.  They didn't run any diagnositics

Alex the owner is a good and trusted man.  He backs his work 100%, no mater what the problems are.  Of course they need to be in the proposal/contract.  Extras are extra but in the long run, when you need it, you need it.  Priced very fair on extras.
