Write a ReviewThey called me back and made an appointment. They showed up on time and they were very nice and clean.
Our air conditioner stopped working. Although the system was still blowing air, it was not cold. We called Supreme Air for a service call, hoping that they could repair the system. The servcice representative inspected the existing system, stating that he could probably fix it, but that it would be expensive and that there was no guarantee it would not break down again as the system was over twenty years old. He recommended total replacement.   He stated that a new system would have greater efficiency and in the long run would be cheaper to operate. I was skeptical but my wife and I decided to talk to a salesman from Supreme Air.The salesman, Rob, came to our house a few days later. He was very professional, gave us the pros and cons on a new system, but did not at any time pressure us to buy the new system. We decided to purchase a new system. A week or so later the installers arrived. They were some of the most professional workers that I have ever seen. They did an absolutely outstanding job. It is important to note, as both the service representative and the salesman suggested, our electric bill, in fact has gone down approximately $75 dollars in the first month, despite incredibly warmer than normal temperatures, and our house is cooler than ever!  I heartily recommend this company!

Technician was professional. Explained what was wrong and needed to be repaired. He was not pushy.
My wife stayed home for the installation of the units and was very pleased with the promptness of the on-time arrival and the quick yet thorough installation itself. The old units were packed up and hauled away, and the crew of two took great care to clean up after themselves. About a week later, Rob returned to inspect the installation and go over any operation questions/concerns that we had. We have come to rely on Supreme Air for our heating/AC needs and this experience has only reinforced that decision. A positive experience from start to finish with everyone concerned.
From the start to finish, everything was handled in a friendly, professional manner. My first contact was calling the office and requesting an estimate. Janette was very helpful and arranged for Rob to visit and provide an estimate. When Rob came, he was very thorough in looking at what we had both inside and out. This included going into the attic and taking complete measurements and answering all my questions.Before leaving, he made sure he had my correct email address so he could send me a detailed proposal. I received the proposal very soon afterwards and Rob was easy to reach with other questions I had. The actual job took about a day and a half. The two installers worked long and hard getting the old air handler out and the new one in. This was difficult due to a small attic access thru a bedroom closet. Before leaving the first day, they did an excellent job cleaning up, both inside and outside, and they did the same the next day when they finished the installation. A few days afterwards, Rob returned to thoroughly inspect the installation which again included going into the attic.This was a real inspection and not at all perfunctory. The A/C is a big improvement and we couldn't be happier. Or at least I didn't think so, until a thank-you gift from Supreme Air arrived. With a nice note thanking us for our business, Supreme Air also sent us some delicious cookies. This was not at all necessary, but very impressive. Supreme Air is a pleasure to do business with and I heartily recommend them.

Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. The technician, Aaron was quick to call me back after hours, explained well why we had to wait 24 hours to see what the problem was (I had a frozen line with no air coming through), suggested I call first thing in the morning to get an after hours appointment and showed up promptly when expected. He seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. I recommend him highly for his professionalism and all around pleasantness. The major concern I had was the charge for the refrigerant. My husband just had refrigerant added to our 12 year old system in Connecticut and paid $44 a pound. I have been doing some research on line today and found the going rate for R-22 is $40-50 a pound (with outliers of course). The highest cost I found was $119.  Supreme Air was going to charge me $308 for up to 2 pounds. Now, I might have just accepted that except that my husband happened to mention how much he paid. Needless to say, I was appalled at the difference. Aaron spoke with his boss and because I was having other work done, his boss was very good about allowing a small amount of refrigerant to be put in with no extra cost. I was very pleased with the way the company was willing to work with me to make me happy.  It was after hour service, and I paid what I consider to be a reasonable and fair after hours fee. But even with extra cost because of the after hours status, it just seemed to be an unreasonable difference of $240 between the same refrigerant in Connecticut and Maryland. As my husband said - I didn't want to shoot the messenger. But Aaron dealt with it in a professional manner and did what he could to make me happy with the result. I am happy to report my house is now cool again and everything seems to be working fine.
