Thank you [Member name removed]! I am glad you are happy with your new system and enjoyed your thank you cookies!
It was an all-day job, but the guys were always courteous and professional, and the Trane system is great. The Estimator/Supervisor was especially good, and came to my house the next day to make sure everything was done right.
Thank you [member name removed]! we are very happy you are enjoying your new system! We look forward to working with you in the future!
I made the initial appointment with Rosalie. Ricardo, the Supreme Air technician arrived on time. He obviously knew his way around a/c systems, and was professional and thorough. He initially assessed the blower system in the attic, to ensure that it was functioning properly, as well as sending/receiving the appropriate signals to/from the external cooling unit. When that panned out okay, he went to assess the external unit next, and eventually deduced (via his instrumentation) that the refrigerant in it had leaked out. There was still refrigerant in the system, but the leakage had been enough to degrade the cooling efficacy of the system. The suggested options were to either perform a leakage test, or just top up the refrigerant. I made a judgement call, based on the fact that the system was 6 years old, and opted for the latter, and that was what he did. It was about midday at the time, so it took quite a while for the humidity upstairs to clear, to the point where one could really feel the cooling, but it eventually did. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the job Supreme Air did. I would use them again for sure.
Thank you [member name removed]! I am glad we were able to repiar your system for you! We look forward to servicing your system in the years to come!
Representative was very knowledgable and professional. He really understood the nuances of these unique systems and was able to answer a lot of detailed questions.
The provider was very responsive. The technician was punctual and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a faulty capacitor. My only complaint is on the cost of the repair. However, I still paid to complete the repair through this provider. After the technician left, I checked the material cost, and part was $25. It took him 5 minutes to complete the repair. There was no discount for using the Angie's list coupon.  It seemed a bit excessive to me.
Everything went fine. I would use them again.
The capacitor had to be replaced. The unit is working fine now. The service person was courteous and professional
They were as professional as you can be.
I worked with Rosalie to set up an appointment. Â She confirmed it in the morning, and Youseff showed up at the planned-upon time and started looking into the problem. Â He immediately found the problem was a burned out connection inside the AC unit to the compressor. Â He re-crimped the connectors and taped up the wires inside the unit, and it started cooling properly. Â Then he checked the age of my furnace at my request (which turns out to be 23 years old). I was a bit surprised that replacing a few connectors was so expensive ($150) - I definitely could have done the repair myself, but I was concerned that there might be problems with the compressor that I'd have to call them back to look into anyway. Â This ended up not being the case, and I'm very happy with the work. Â The entire service took about an hour, and it was during normal business hours (1130-1230 on a Thursday). Â He also quoted me around $150 to replace what I'm assuming is a relay inside the unit because of more burned/bad connections. Â I'll probably be looking into if I can do that myself. He answered all my questions about unit age and maintenance, and even showed me a handy guide on replacement cost versus age and when to throw in the towel and get a new unit. Â He was very friendly and customer-focused. Â I'd recommend him to anyone. Â The service plan seems like a pretty good deal, but I want to shop around a bit before I commit to one provider.
The techs were very professional and even put booties on their boots before entering my house. They surveyed the water heater by checking the pilot, thermo coupling and gas valve. Once they showed me that the pilot was lit, they showed the electrical current that ran through the coupling, which was great. They identified that the gas valve was "bad" and needed to be replaced. However, they also brought up getting a new water heater ($2200) since it was 10 years old. Once I told them to get quotes for both the gas valve and a new heater, they only focused on getting a new heater. Funny thing is: My water heater now works after i had another company come out.
