Write a ReviewTech said AC won't work without this part. Was high pressure about getting repair made. I had another company replace the part that wasn't needed for AC to work for $160 less.
It went great. Jason was a fantastic HVAC tech. He knew a ton about my system and seemed to have a sixth sense about what was causing certain minor performance issues. I call him the HVAC Whisperer.
We're so glad you were pleased with the service Jason provided. We appreciate your taking the time to review Supreme Air, and we hope to provide service for you in the future.

Fine for the basic service. But the service tech. wrote up an estimate for a lot more work, that we did not need.
Thanks for taking the time to review Supreme Air. We're sorry that you didn't appreciate the tech's recommendations. We point out anything we notice that you might want to be aware of, for safety, health and optimal performance of your HVAC equipment. You can always decline, but our goal is to be thorough in advising you of our findings. We appreciate your business.

Job was quite complex and took a long time. Overall result is 'Supreme". Finished product works even better than anticipated. Used to use $6-10K of oil per year for heating and winter of 2015-16 son used about $1300 for heating. House now stays far more comfortable and warmer than ever was on set back with oil heat. Three old hot water furnaces were installed with interconnected return air ducts and one 2000 square foot area (LR, DR, kitchen, den) had no return ducts at all. Supreme engineered a new duct system in total and installed a new return duct to this wing that is tastefully concealed and works perfectly. Not an easy task but handled well from planning through execution! Job required new power company service and we did not realize that until wells were drilled so that design and permitting delayed project by 2 months. It cost us an extra $6000. Overall I am very pleased to have this fine new service in the 50+ year old house. However it would have been better to know from the get go and we would have been finished far sooner. Electrician subcontractor was excellent. Also Supreme subcontracted installation of tankless hot water heater and propane lines. The plumber did not follow directions resulting in several issues with venting, loss of service and a couple days with no hot water in house. He frequently did not show up and often left without finishing or needed parts he did not bring. He routed one hot water line about 60-70 feet to get to the shower directly above the heater and that had to be replaced later. Final installation of new furnaces is of excellent quality from the wells to the ducts. There was minimal need for QA rework following completion. And I am a retired building manager with a critical eye for details. Biggest issue we had was occasionally Supreme's project manager was not available nor on site frequently enough. As a building engineer, I found myself directing crews and making decisions most home owners would not be qualified to do. Also at outset the crews did not always show up, leaving me or my son standing by waiting. This was a big deal for my son as he wasted vacation days to no avail when they did not show up. Some minor issues were these 1. I found some penetrations left in back corner of crawl space where men salvaged old AC copper tubing. The holes were not sealed and were leaking rain water into the house where old plumbing was. 2. Some old wiring was not thoroughly removed until my recalling of electricians. 3. A few water pipes were not supported adequately in the crawl space. 4. Some hot water pipes were routed so that it took way too long for hot water to showers and I had to find that and get it changed. 5. Hot water pipes were not insulated. 6. Propane gas regulator was not sized properly nor vented to outdoors. It was left to vent into basement; thank you inspector for finding this. 7. Tankless water heater vent was only a foot above outdoor grade complying with Baltimore County code but well under top of snow drifts last winter. It was pitched the wrong way too. I had to pay extra to have it routed above snow levels (done before winter thank goodness). 8. There was a leak left under the sink where hot water recirc pump was installed and we had to have this fixed twice. 9. One Auxilliary coil was too small and had to be upgraded after I discovered the defect. All the problems were fixed by supreme with no questions asked to hassles. I expect that the plumber could not read or did not bother to read manuals. I found plumbing issues by reading manuals he left behind. All necessary repairs and rework was done without cost to us and all is working extremely well now. Again as a trained building engineer I am critical of quality issues and find the finished product excellent. I even recommended Supreme to friends who are now happy Geothermal system owners that Supreme installed. In fact, I even hired Supreme to maintain and upgrade my own geothermal system installed by another company. When the other company walked away leaving my system with issues, Supreme stepped up with no obligation and solved my warranty problems to factory and my satisfaction. They even updated my thermostat software and programmng to allow me iPhone access and control. Their updates prevented my system, my friend's system and my son's from using any auxiliary heat all winter.
