It went well overall. They did what they said they would do and gave a few suggestions on things we may want to consider for our furnace in the future. They were not high pressure on getting these things done now. My husband was the one that met with the technician and he seemed to like them and would use them in the future.
I was very happy that with each visit, the same guy was sent out and he remembered me and my HVAC and its elderly problems! That is nice because I don't! I just signed up for the next year.
The service went very well. He was very helpful and accommodating.
Supreme Air called me the morning of the visit to verify I was there and told me the Service person would be there in about 1/2 hour. He showed up on time, identified himself (Joe) as soon as I opened the door and put shoe covers on his boots to avoid tracking anything into the house. He was there for our routine Fall Furnace Service inspection. Additionally, I asked him to check out a humming noise we were hearing sometimes when the furnace was running. It didn't make the noise every time so Joe patiently cycled the heat off and on until it made the humming noise. He was able to isolate the sound and determine it was coming from the gas line -- possibly a problem with the regulator. The furnace itself was/is working perfectly. He recommended that we call BGE and have them out to inspect the gas line. Joe was on time, professional, knowledgeable, personable and helpful -- can't ask for more than that! We have been, and continue to be, very pleased with the service we receive from Supreme Air.
I had purchased the big deal for a fall furnace tune-up. Then our heat went out a week before the appointment. Supreme Air allowed me to change the date and sent somebody by to fix the furnace the next day, which was a very friendly and helpful thing to do. It turned out that the igniter was malfunctioning. I only had to pay for the part in addition to the tune-up I had purchased, and signing up for an bi-annual service contract helped me save an additional 15% on the part as well. The service man was very friendly, showed me how to clean the filter myself and had some other recommendations for me. Overall a great experience.
Everything went well, I called made the appointment, they arrived when the said they would and completed the work. The service person was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.
While the work manship in general was good, the people were great. In my mind small things make the difference between excellent and good. I consider a work product to be excellent, if I could find absolutely nothing wrong with the implementation and even surprised that some of the special extras or thoughtfulness that have been included. In the case of SupremeAir, when I looked at their work and implementation, if I had done the work myself, I would have done some things differently to make the solution better. I have provided a list of things I would do differently to the salesman as part of SupremeAir's follow-up - a nice touch by SupremeAir - but would also have been nice to see some results from my comments. I wasn't expecting SupremeAir to come back and make any changes - but sure would have been nice for a manager (or the owner) to give us a call and let me know that he had read my comments and would make some changes in order to improve his product. Note: SupremeAir, does an exceptional and excellent job as far as understanding the financing, helping with federal and state rebates and being very responsive.
