I had a great experience with the Angie's Deal for the winter tune up.  They were very responsive, timely, professional and overall great.  Based on that I contacted them for a follow-up call on a different system.  They never showed for the appointment.  Very unfortunate since I had such a great response the first time.

Excellent, prompt, professional service! I needed someone quickly, and on a particular day and they were very flexible in coming when I needed them to. The technician did a great job of showing us the issues and describing what needed to be done, and the folks at the office helped tremendously in getting the price for the damper replacement discounted by signing me up for an annual service plan. For $16.66/mo I'll get two complimentary inspections a year, and a discount on any additional parts required. Great deal and peace of mind for me. Very pleased and would absolutely recommend them!

Supreme Air is awesome! Scheduling service was easy up front, but then 3 days before my scheduled tune up my furnace broke. I called to ask whether I needed another appt or if the tune up would cover the diagnostic cost as well. They moved my tune up to the next morning (would've been same day but a technician called out sick) and prioritized me that morning (ie I was the first to receive service during the 730 - 12pm window). He called ahead to say he was on his way, was very professional, and took the time to explain my furnace problem once he discovered it. I incurred NO extra charges since they found the problem doing the tune up. My heat is working fine now. Thanks Supreme Air!

Response from Company:

It has taken me a while to write this review because I was conflicted.  The workmanship of installing the system was very good. The technicians were efficient, worked hard, and were very professional. The issues I had:  (1) no one called me to schedule the date of installation.  The evening before the installation, I received a voice mail indicating they would arrive between 8 and 9.  Fortunately, I was able to arrange to work for home, which I thought would be for one day.  (2) After the working furnace was removed and the new furnace installed, it was discovered that the two intake/discharge pipes needed for the furnace could not be installed in the same manner as the existing pipe.  It was determined that they would have to run the pipes from the basement to the roof.  The work therefore could not be completed the first day.  I had no heat, it was still heating weather -- they did lend me a space heater.  (3) The second day, it was raining so they could not complete the installation of the pipes because the roofers could not do the work to seal the holes for the pipes.  Unfortunately, it was Friday, and therefore I was without heat for another three days.  Also another day not in the office.  (4) On Monday, the work was completed by 5 (and another day out of the office), but I had 2 exposed 3-inch pvc pipe running up the wall of my kitchen and a closet ceiling with a hole and cracks where the pipes were installed up to the roof.  Each required extra expense on my part to repair them.   To be fair, they did not charge me for the roofers when I balked at paying the extra expense, especially as this particular consequence was never explained to me prior to the purchase nor did I have cause to ask that question even though I researched installing the energy-efficiency furnaces. With the purchase of the HVAC system, i was eligible for a rebate from BGE.  I asked the salesman, when I signed the final paperwork how the application would be filed.  He told me that the company would do so.  After more than 3 months, when I had received nothing to indicate the rebate had been filed, I called the company and discovered that my paperwork had been filed without the rebate paperwork being prepared.  I was immediately sent the paperwork, which I signed, and it was sent.  It was over six months before I saw the rebate.  Of course since I had the extra expense of having the pipes drywalled and the ceiling repaired, I truly did not get the expect reduction of the purchase price that I had anticipated. With the extra electricity used for the space heater and then the end of heating season occurring within a week after installation, I will not know how the furnace will impact my heating bills.  Similarly, the summer was relatively mild, and I did not run the AC much. I hope that ultimately I will be able to get some return on my investment.

Response from Company:

Thank you for your review. We regret that you experienced poor communication. We've since improved the communication process between our departments and customers. I hope you are happy with your system and we appreciate your business.

There were 2 persons. One seemed knowledgeable and the other did not. I asked for a price to remove an old gas line. The estimate was extremely high because I had already received an estimate from another company (Len the Plumber). They made mistakes (did not turn the gas back on to the boiler after they turned off the main gas line and I ended up paying Len the Plumber 98$ to turn it back on because I could not get it restarted. The unknowledgeable one ended up going upstairs and turning on the air conditioning system instead of the heating system (heat and air conditioning are separate in this house). I had previously shut down the system and the air conditioning unit outside ended up running for a period of time. I now have fears that damage may have been done to that system because all the vents were shut off and the outdoor system had been covered with tarp. In summary, it was a nightmare.

Took advantage of an Angie's List "Big Deal" with Supreme Air to have my HVAC system checked for a water leak.  I was totally satisfied with Supreme Air.  Their technician came when the company said he would and correctly diagnosed the problem, though it took me until I had the unit replaced to completely verify this.  Supreme's technician told me the source of my water leak was a rusted-out drip pan below the A/C coil, which sits atop the furnace.  Nine months later, when I finally decided to replace the furnace and A/C units, the rusted-out drip pan on the old A/C coil was easily located/observed.  I did not use Supreme Air to subsequently replace my units, though they provided me a reasonable estimate to do so.  This fact is not a knock on Supreme.  I used another firm which had done work for family and friends, and it was for that reason only that I did not opt to use Supreme.  I'm sure their work would have been just as satisfactory as it was during their service call.

Response from Company:

Greetings! Thanks for taking the time to review Supreme Air and for giving us a positive review. It was a pleasure to be of service to you. Please keep us in mind in the future for your HVAC service needs. Have a Supreme day!

They did a good job and I would use them again.  The unit has held up fine since they came out to do the work.  There were no issues with scheduling.
