We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they were good. I got  charged extra for freon for my air conditioner unit. It was low. I had first purchased a big deal with another company, and they weren't good so I called Angie's List and they sorted that out and sent out Supreme Air. I ended up needing less than a pound of Freon which the first company wouldn't put in for me. I thought the service was great. I paid 300 Dollars extra. The reason why I used the first one was that the deal included freon. Supreme Air came out and said everything was fine and it just needed freon, and he cleaned it up a little. I thought the freon was a little expensive. The guy who came out did what I asked him to do, he was a nice guy, and he was punctual.

Response from Company:

Thank you! I am glad we were able to get you up and running again!

Came home to a freezing building - furnace had stopped working. Found Supreme Air on Angie's list, called and within 4 hours had a warm home again.  Extremely pleased with response especially since I was a new customer and it was the day after Thanksgiving!! Responded to my original call within 30 minutes and also had several follow-up calls to keep me informed of arrival time. Service technician was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.  To Alex and Youseff - thank you so much!!

Response from Company:

Serviceman showed up about one hour late (compared to call that morning saying he would be there in 20 minutes). Besides that, we were very pleased with service. We are new in house and wanted furnace in particular checked out prior to first use. I know a bit about hvac and the things he reported on seemed reasonable. He suggested several preventative tasks that would cost beyond the big deal price, but was not pushy when I approved some but not all. Happy enough that we purchased an annual package that seems comparable in price to what deal we got through Angies.

This is a difficult review to write and grade --  there were two services: the inspection, which was a combination of impressive and irritating, and the furnace replacement, which was excellent.  I'd use them again, cautiously, but I would use them. The inspection sounded great, and Angies' List sponsored inspection deal, a combo fall/summer checkup for only $169.  I bought two. Dan really knew his stuff and spent over 6 hours meticulously going over both systems.  He was happy to explain every step and any problems he found.  The clangers were finding "problems" which they would sell me expensive solutions:  $109 each to clean outside AC coils with special acid wash (cleaning coils was paid for under the $169 deal, but that was brushed aside), and cleaning off AC coils inside each plenum for $268 each.  Ouch! But Dan explained he would do it carefully with a brush and shop vac, so I declined.  For $268, I can be careful, too.  I felt like I was at some scammy quick oil change place.  When Dan said he'd found a cracked heat exchanger on a furnace I thought, jeez, another trick.  But no.  He went to great effort to stick His iPhone in the guts of the unit, photo the crack, and then guided my hand so I could feel it.  D***.  When we talked about options, he said he could replace the heat exchanger for $1441 labor.  He and the office went to some efforts to determine if the heat exchanger was covered by warranty.  It was, but I'd have to pay $1000 for the part and seek reimbursement from the manufacturer, AND pay Supreme a $96 fee to order the part.  Really?  I was astonished at a parts-order fee, but Dan was regretfully certain.  "If it's not on the truck, we have to charge the fee."  The odd thing was, as Dan tried to sell me bogus-sounding services and upgrades, he seemed almost regretful, as if he was just following the manual or his supervisor was listening in.   When he was answering questions about the systems or his measuring tools, he was in his element. To make the choice, I made an appointment with Supreme and one of their competitors to price out a new furnace before paying the $1500 to $2500 I'd have to pay for repairing the 8-year-old unit I had.  Ross, the Supreme Air estimator, quoted me $2438 for a new comparable furnace.  When I discuss repair/replace with him, he was astonished at the $96 parts-ordering fee.  Seeing I was miffed about this, he said he'd knock off another $200.  Sweet.  Since the estimate from a competitor was $3500, I told Supreme to install the new furnace. Brian and Rob installed the new Carrier furnace in half a day.  They spotted and fixed a couple of things done stupidly in the original furnace's installation at no extra charge, and left the area neat as a pin.  Brian, Rob, and Ross were the best kind of professionals; experienced, skilled, diligent, and courteous.

they did a great job - inspected everything plus more. the tech found multiple issues that was causing the furnace to over compensate and function at less than acceptable. They repaired and replaced 3 items total with one on order. They returned the following week to finish the job. Works great now. It was an unfortunate evil to have it fixed but a necessity. My unit is 19 years so it was warranted. The price was high but seemed reasonable. The tech was very respectful and professional. I would def recommend again.

Response from Company:

Thank you so much (Removed Member Name). We are thrilled your furnace is up and running again! We look forward to servicing you in the future!
