The electrician and his work were great, but the cost was considerably higher than I anticipated. My research led me to expect $50/hour plus cost of materials, but the cost estimate for my small job was considerably higher. I still had the work done since I'd already paid for the site-visit and didn't have time for a second opinion, but I was shocked. I'm assuming the quality will be worth it over time, but it would have been helpful to have some estimate of the minimum cost before he came to my home.

We certainly appreciate your business and your review. Let me first start by saying you are correct there are some electricians that may only charge $50/hour. The difference would be those are single electrician companies that run their operation out of a single truck and with a cell phone. We are a 33 year company with 6 office staff to better serve your needs timely and efficiently. Our research shows that most of those companies will expect a customer to leave their inquiries on a voicemail and have a more difficult time serving their customers needs. We answer phones live 24x7x365 and hope these benefits justify the cost of our services.
