We have radiant floor heating, we expected the pipes in the floor to get damaged during the drainage system installation.  There was no getting around it, and they did get damaged but not as bad as it could have been.  FSM was very careful taking out the existing concrete so the damage was kept to a minimum and they had a plumber on call who repaired the damage.  Overall, FSM did a great job

I recently purchased a home built in 1975 on a crawl space, the house was very humid and had a musty odor.  I called in a few other companies for estimates before contacting FSM, then in early November an inspector, Dale, from FSM came out to my house.  Dale was the only inspector who actually got in the crawl space, looked around, took pictures and thoroughly explained the issues to me and the appropriate steps to properly fix the issues I had.  Once he completed the inspection, provided me with multiple options and his recommendation, went over financing options I signed the contract.  He then proceeded to assist me with setting up the interest free financing provided through one of FSM partners.  The estimate was a bit higher then other companies, but i quickly realized I was getting so much more, better materials, and a solution that would actually work and last.  It was a simple decision for me and the financing was an added bonus. The next step was to setup the installation date where Kathy in the office assisted me with that and she also called me a few days before the installation date for a reminder. The day of the install a crew of three guys arrived around 9am, Garret the foreman explained the install process to me and they got right to work.  The crew completed the install around 4pm, as Garret was completing the final cleanup I met him in the crawl space where he gave me a detailed explanation of the work that was completed.  We then exited the crawl space and he completed the final walk through, check list, and went over a few maintenance tips for the sump pump. It has now been about a month since the work was completed and I am extremely satisfied with the results.  The humidity has dropped, the musty smell is gone, and the floors are warmer. The inspector, office staff, and crew were very helpful, professional and courteous - I would highly recommend FSM and if I need more foundation/insulation work completed in the future they will definitely win my business.

The inspector, Dale, was prompt and professional on the day he came to give an estimate. He explained what he believed to be the problem and provided several options for repairs, with benefits and drawbacks of each. We agreed on a wall anchor system and scheduled a date for the work. On the agreed date a 3 man crew, led by Alex arrived on time. He put plastic down to cover my stairs and floors. Alex explained exactly what they would be doing. Encouraged me to observe the work and take pictures of the work in progress if desired, because it will all be covered when they finish. The crew did an excellent job and answered every questioned I had while they were working. When finished, Alex walked me through the entire job. Again answered all questions. They finished quicker than I or my wife thought they would. They cleaned up and left the work site clean. They could not replace the grass because it was December and cold. But that was explained before they started.

     The crew came in laid down floor covering and were very polite and courteous got right to work and were done in one day.       The crew leaders name was Ryan. He was very professional showed me exactly what they were going to do and showed me the finished job for my approval.       I couldn't be more pleased with the results my house smells better and the floors are warmer I don't know why I waited so long to have this done.

We authorized and scheduled the work with one of FSM's sales representatives, who had originally inspected our crawlspace situation and provided us with a cost estimate for the project.  Everything would have been perfect, except for his lack of responsiveness and follow-through on numerous followup details, which then required several phone calls to and from FSM office representatives from sales and accounting, who were all very nice, courteous and professional.  When providing his original estimate, the sales representative also failed to include FSM's 10% senior citizen discount mentioned on their website, until I asked him about it.  He then adjusted his proposal accordingly. Anyway, the work was eventually performed as originally scheduled, after a few reassuring reminder phone calls from the main office just to confirm that the work dates were still on our calendar.  When another project resulted in a last-minute delay to the start of our project, the crew chief called to let us know that their arrival would be a few hours late, which we very much appreciated. Overall the installation crew did a fabulous job!  They were friendly, professional, courteous, and responsive to our questions, and very respectful of our home and our landscaping.  They did a great job with all the encapsulation prep and installation work, and end-of-the-day cleanup.  The crew chief was very courteous and professional in explaining to me the work that was done, while also patiently answering my questions to ensure my satisfaction as we crawled around under the house inspecting their work upon its completion.   It's been over a month now since the work was done, and we are very pleased with the project overall.  The air seems cleaner in our house, our floors seem warmer, and we expect that we'll see reduced heating/air conditioning costs over time. It was an expensive project, but we think it will be a worthwhile investment in the long run.

Got the quote in late August, inspector was very professional and knowledgable.  Hired them that day (had already gotten 2 other quotes, they weren't the cheapest but were competitive especially when I added the encapsulation).  Had to wait almost 2 months for the work because they were backlogged - this was not an emergency situation. On the morning of the install the crew foreman called as they were leaving their shop and gave an ETA.   Crew showed up on time and got right to work: Reviewed the job details with me and introduced the crew Guys laid down protective plastic leading up to the crawl space access (inside the house). Guys taped up sheeting to prevent dust from entering the rest of that room Went in the crawl and bagged up all the old insulation, debris, and the plastic sheeting that I had laid down Built temporary support walls on both sides of the beam Installed four smart jacks replaced the beam in sections (access point is limited, steel beam installed in 3 sections) Installed new insulation on the wall between the joists Installed foil backed foam insulation on the block walls installed a heavy vinyl(?) vapor barrier on the ground, taped every single seam and glued/caulked the joints at the walls Popped a vent into one of the heating ducts to condition the air Removed all the trash from the house, removed the protective barriers Did a final check of the floors and adjusted the jacks to level them out They were very professional.  Answered questions, asked them when needed. In and out in 10 hours!   Crawl space has no smell now and is so clean - I like going in there now! Would use FSM again and recommend to anyone.

The foundation and slab are sinking.  We found this provider on Angies list, and thru a referral.  We called, made an appointment and the inspector was on time and thorough.  He checked every crack inside and out, drew up plans, gave us alternative suggestions and presented us with a bid for his services. We are still reviewing his offer against another firm.  We still need more information.  However, based on what they did, estimate, we were very satisfied.

The work was scheduled within a week of meeting with the service rep. The crew completed the job within an hour of their arrival. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I'm happy with the repair. I just wish they would have given me an approximate start time on the day of the repair.

This was our third experience with FSM. We called them in 2010 to look at water leaking in our prior home. At that time we were not overly impressed. We did feel pressured and my husband hates that. When we were having problems in our new home one of our friends at church recommended the company. We gave them another shot but asked for the same salesman our friends had used. I'm glad we did. Russell T was greatly informative and knowledgeable. We needed our wall supported and he took the time to really explain what needed to be done and why. We had two other companies over and it just seemed like they wanted to sell us "A" fix with FSM we knew we had the fix. The job went off without a hitch and other then a small dent in the wall we couldn't have been happier the crew was great. We had Russell T out to our daughters home and she and her husband we equally impressed with him and FSM.

The crew was very professional in the way they did the work. All the work was done very well.
