Write a ReviewWork was completed within 24 hours of approving contract; crew reported to work on time and completed within estimated time; work was done as described with documentation of each step; crew cleaned up area and it was a very difficult manual work due to clay surrounding foundation. Work is "guaranteed" for life of the home. There are many different approaches and costs to do repairs, so I recommend discussing with at least 2 contractors before finalizing.

Called concerning water coming through the wall and collecting in basement floor. Technician came out recommend a French drain (to eliminate the water seeping through the walls) French drain was installed. Not even a month later water still pooling on floor due to water coming through walls. ?Lifetime warranty on entire basement? apparently does not cover the issue they were supposed to originally fix and wanted another $1800 to further fix the issue instead of just doing it right the first time. Not to mention the job site was left a mess -Adhesive left on kitchen floor because they taped paper down instead of using drop cloths -Iced tea bottles and other trash left behind -large concrete coated board they used to level concrete left behind Crew arrived on the job asking me what they had to do, original problem not fixed and warranty is bogus unless you give them more money
Ryan, We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience with our company regarding the work done and the cleanliness of the job site post job. With that said, we would like to address a few things. Our crew installed your job on December 11, 2019. The following week on December 17, 2019 you spoke with our Service Department regarding the walls being damp. We dispatched a technician the very next morning to help you with these issues. Even though we did not preform any work on your walls, and your warranty is only valid for where we completed work, we did what we could to help. Our service technician applied a paint to the troublesome area as a temporary fix at no cost to you. He then recommended something that would solve the problem permanently that would come at an additional cost. During an inspection we only provide a fix and create a contract around the issues that we can see. We don't like to spend as much of a customer's money as we can if they don't necessarily need more work. We did solve the issue of water pooling on your floor, unfortunately this brought another issue to light. We are more than happy to correct this new issue at an additional cost for you as the temporary fix we provided you, at no cost, will not last forever. Also, we would like to clarify our lifetime warranty. It states that we will guarantee our workmanship and ?Control the water penetration at the cove and floor area where an internal pressure relief system has been installed?. We can not warranty your entire basement since we did not preform work on your entire basement. Your warranty is only valid for where your French drains were installed, but we were more than happy to look at the other issues you were having and help you out. We would finally like to note that on the bottom of the contract you signed it states, If less than the entire basement is being waterproofed and additional work is required, the price will be based on 2013 pricing. We apologize for the late response, but we wanted to check the validity of all of the facts of this job. Please feel free to contact us to discuss this further. We truly do our best to resolve customer issues in a timely fashion with as little issues as possible.

From the free consultation and estimate to clean up and send off these guys took care of my family, they didnt pressure me into anything and were very helpful and knowledgeable of their trade, they installed a french drain in my basement in about a days time, they treated my home and family like their own, one of the things I really liked about them was that they are a family/veteran run company, I highly recommend these guys if you need anything that they offer.
From the beginning, we were very impressed with the presentation by Dave Kemmler. The crew arrived in a prompt manner and were very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. We are extremely pleased with their workmanship and results and would not hesitate to recommend your company. Looking forward to the next rain fall and our dry basement.
The BWS did a new rain drainage to replace the very old (ceramic!) drainage. They finished it with some mistakes and the drainage did not work fast enough. However, when I mailed them pictures of puddles accumulated on my driveway, the reacted very fast. Problem was fixed in a few days and now everything works just fine. My point is that every company could make a mistake. The more important is if the company is willing to correct them.

Once we received your pictured and could determine what needed to be adjusted we were more than happy to correct what needed to be done to get your system to work efficiently and effectively. From the front office, to the salesman that came to my house to look at what work needed to be done, to the workers who did the work, they were all very professional and polite and answered all of our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Basement Waterproofing Specialists to others.
