First visit by the company: My wife and I were both home but the guy marked on the paper he left that he knocked and we weren't there. My study is next to the front door and I heard no knock. I saw the truck outside and wanted to speak with him but next thing I knew he was gone.

We have had service thru Trugreen for 2-3 years now. This past year (2016) was the worst. Generally, poor customer service. Took them months to restore a problem (dying/dead) area of my lawn. Sprayed our lawn an extra time NOT covered by my contract, & without our permission, ... then billed us. (aka Shady Honesty) Primary reason for hiring TruGreen again is that they nearly have a monopoly in this area. (TruGreen recently bought out Scott Lawn Services) .

This company exercised its option to take over a local company's territory. I had fired them before. The first time they began, they serviced a neighbor's yard who did not want the service and billed me for it. Other problems followed. Fired again.

Asked them to call me for service...dog and gate, I just happened to be home. I also do not like to have to give them my account number... would prefer to pay as you go. Was told that a person would discuss my lawn issues with me, the "very polite and courteous" worker didn't seem to know and told me that a supervisor would be contacting me. I am still waiting.

Hired TruGreen to treat for grubs and also to fertilize. Lawn looks great , and no more bugs. Will hire them again next year , perhaps earlier to apply a preemergent weed killer.

    We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
  9. Identity Verification (SSN)
    HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
  10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
    We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
